Gaza Gaza Gone

Looks like the chosen people are on the march again,
not much has changed since persecution began to rain;
what happened to the promised land, was that Palestine?
It took a few paragliders to shake a candelabra sign.

Jesus drove them out of the temple, never on sunday,
who would he drive now, maybe you or me they might say;
do you know your history, no one's interested anymore,
we'll check to see if you've been cicumcised - what for?

We'll check to see what side you're on, even then dead,
five thousand still managed, to get their daily bread;
some are more concerned that we're not smoking in war,
rather than having concerns for delivering God's law.

Some may have a few things to answer for without love,
ironically, miuch of that may be answerable from above.

What the River Eats

How many calories in
a muddy tower of winter-shed leaves?
What taste on the tongue
of white-capped rapids as they lap
at the dirt monolith? What sound
it makes as the tower falls, finally,
into the belly of that river,
where the fish and our reflections live?

I do not know if they’re answerable
questions, but I ask away, if only
to remind myself that the river
is just as alive as I claim to be.

Being Good

Purely innocent
Completely tolerant
Unconditionally loving
Totally understanding
Overtly gullible
Unobtrusively humble
Intimately sympathetic
Thoroughly empathetic

Throughout caring
Never ignoring
Perpetually loyal
Consistently grateful
Labouriously studious
Discreetly judicious
Immediately yielding
Indiscriminately sharing

Socially polite
Un-assumedly modest
Flexibly adjusting
Unquestioningly accepting
Astonishingly punctual
Immanently answerable
Ever committed
Naturally obligated

All definitions read but not hold good,
For, being good is definitely being victimised!

How To Live Happily In a Police State

Let silence be answerable to sound.
Unplug yourself
move with caution through crowds
bow head as if in prayer
yet deny God at all costs.
Let the brave resist...
survive.

Support our leaders
whoever or whatever is in charge.
have no reservations or doubts,
its all for your own good,
for your own peace of mind.
Fake brain damage.

Now that truth is a lie,
agree to agree.
if you are young enough
to be conscripted
volunteer to kill at will.

Avoid clubs and interest groups,
stay under the radar.
Surrender your gun
say you found it in a ditch.

Never complain.
Always smile and nod.
Acclaim proudly
that poverty is patriotism.
Criminals are the real victims,
apologies to all for being you.

When they say we must try harder
to "flatten the curve"
never ask "What curve?"
Believe the official news
toe the line.
Never ask "What line"?

Turn a blind eye
to EVERYTHING.

Premium MemberPutins Patriarch

Weren’t you lucky, up to time of your blood thirsty war,
Russian sports, especially gymnasts and ballet at the fore,
Gave your presidency of Russia somewhat of a credit,
Hopefully with Western sanctions you’ll swim in debit
And, as for the Patriarch of your Russian Orthodox Church
Strange bedfellows you are, so odd,
You Putin, and your puppet Patriarch, will one day face God.

Instructions For Love

you must be in love
if you see the stars are brighter
talk to plants and animals
and they answer
now you dive into the sea
but doesn't know how to swim
travel the world
but it doesn't leave the place
you must be in love
if you suddenly become contemplative
in each stone you see a diamond
in every gesture a meaning
love has a thousand shapes
and who loves
not answerable for their own actions
act exaggerated and go crazy
there is no way to stop the madness
because love is an infection
love is something unreal
but if you are lucky enough to be infected
please never try to heal

Premium MemberJesus Teaching: Anger

You have heard that it was said to your ancestors
'You shall not kill
And whoever kills will be liable to judgment
‘But I say to you, whoever is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment
And whoever says to his brother
Will be answerable to the Sanhedrin
And whoever says
'You fool' will be liable to fiery Gehenna
Therefore
If you bring your gift to the altar
And there recall that your brother has anything against you
Leave your gift there at the altar
Go first and be reconciled with your brother
And then come and offer your gift
Settle with your opponent quickly while on the way to court with him
Otherwise your opponent will hand you over to the judge
And the judge will hand you over to the guard
And you will be thrown into prison
Amen
 I say to you
You will not be released until you have paid the last penny [MT 5:21-26]

How I Respond To Critics

If someone mocked my poetry, I will maintain silence,
Not a word I will write in response
I am not answerable to my critic!

Comments of critics are visible to all
With their comments they tarnish their own image

Some people are egoistic, negative and critical.
That's the way God has made them, I cannot change them.
But my happiness is my responsibility I owe it to myself
It's in my hands and no one can steal it if I don't allow

I have learnt over years, to keep mind in present moment
Present moment is thoughtless and peaceful
I don't think much especially negative thoughts I shun

I respect myself and my poetry,
Poetry is God's blessing to me
Whatever I write comes from deep within,
I don't think I am the author

Handling Criticism

All those who criticize tarnish their image in front of everyone

Criticisms in print are best left undeleted, more they are read, more defamed their writers become

If we ignore criticising people, they will get bored and stop their actions

Those who criticize are surely not our well wishers, they don't deserve to be in our thoughts

Be confident of self, don't allow negative words bring down your self-esteem

Whatever a person thinks about you is his personal opinion, it doesn't mean he is correct

Barking dogs are best left alone. One can never straighten a dog's tail.

Lastly never ever defend yourself and try to prove you are right. You are not answerable to your critic's.

Cups of Prayers and Curses

I drink everyday cups after cups
Of what you feared to drink.
If blood differs its color from red
To saffron, white or whatever,
I deny to bleed religiously.
From what well a beggar
Draws water for his thirst I know not,
But I understand the poison
Of sins we, you and I, drink everyday;
Spiced with your indifferent high-handedness.
Do not hoist your flag on my history,
For I have stopped walking on tutored prayers.
In spite of the anthem you've baptized me with and
My flat nose and narrow eyes upon which
Your mockery humiliates humanity,
I remain native to my roots.
Someday, a stone will conquer us, the both of us,
When stars will drain their twinkles, with remorse,
On garbage of raped girls, even as chastity becomes
The fault-line along which seismic rebellions
Will tremor and justify my absence
From your churches, mosques and temples.
My demands, notwithstanding your statutes,
Are answerable by your august houses;
Lest posterity wil spill cups of curses
On altars, constitutions and patriotism.

Terror Is Scary

terror
oh god its lifes greatest error
just to do wrong deeds in life
is a thing that i want to just cut with knife
terror
we have to just mend our ways
it is scary
good deeds we have to just carry
terror
it is just a mistaken belief
and we have to take to magnificient conscience for a relief
terror
i want to just get rid of it
in order to be an outstanding citizen of a factual deed
terror
it just spoils the confidence in social norms
i want to learn everything from life in all its forms
terror
therfore gain knowledge to eliminate terror
and to see in ourselves a social- fact-finder

An Inner Reflection

Enjoy what little you see,

Tomorrow it may not be in close enough reach,

Hold it close keep it in a jar,

Place it under your pillow so you can embrace what you had,

And how far you kept it closed up on your shelf,

Let it breathe once in a while,

Before the life within it explodes

Leaving shards of the past scattered throughout your walls

Damaging every last chance to a future

And permanently blinding you from the present

The reflection you see inside is gone

And the contents any answer you may have

They are only answerable if you see your reflection on the glass

For the answers to any question is only known

If you can open your eyes and choose to see

Military Cop-Out

The armed services think they're autonomous,
after 'Deepcut,' it may no longer be the case;
the man from MI6 paid Colonel Llewellyn a visit,
he informed him that a military court was irrelevant.

He said that the services were answerable to HM Government,
and could no longer abide by in-house decisions;
Colonel Llewellyn looked at the man from MI6,
'Do you have authority to make these comments?' He asked.

He was informed that he did, with a dry smile,
'Situations will be monitored, no initiation rites,
no bullying, no misplaced discipline, nothing like that,'
Colonel Llewellyn said, 'This is outrageous.'

'How do you intend to implement such proposals?'
MI6 said: 'I can assure you that there is no choice.'
