An Inner Reflection

Enjoy what little you see, Tomorrow it may not be in close enough reach, Hold it close keep it in a jar, Place it under your pillow so you can embrace what you had, And how far you kept it closed up on your shelf, Let it breathe once in a while, Before the life within it explodes Leaving shards of the past scattered throughout your walls Damaging every last chance to a future And permanently blinding you from the present The reflection you see inside is gone And the contents any answer you may have They are only answerable if you see your reflection on the glass For the answers to any question is only known If you can open your eyes and choose to see
