Meat

You crave my honey-glazed legs,
relish my breasts with practiced flair.
You chip my wings mid-conversation,
While dissecting my dressing,
Too raunchy, too clingy
never quite suited to your taste.

You want me plated just right:
thighs weighed in grams,
skin stretched to your appetite,
injected for volume, deboned for ease.
my fear tenderized for flavor.

Still, palate demands more
side dishes to seasoned
to disguise the ravine

The Fox Hunt

All horses and hounds alert, 
when the horn blows!
The chase is on, where to?
Nobody bloody knows!

Illegal is the sport,
everybody is on edge.
A fox runs for it is life,
as a horse is whipped over a hedge.

The law stated clearly
that live fox hunts were banned!
They ignored it because animal rights
in their mind do not stand.

Are They All Just Animals

“Am I just another dog wasting away in a shelter?
Am I just another horse sinking in the mud of a filthy pasture?
Am I just another cheetah about to be shot for fashionable attire?”
I bet you’re thinking: they’re just animals, they don’t think or question, no matter how tortured the soul.

Hard to breathe must be to high

Animal Abuse

..."Animal abuse should be a felony."


Animal abuse should be a felony.
No creature should be beaten, tortured, and abused.
I have never known how anyone could be
Malicious and demented, so cruel and unforgiving.
And for what, what is the reward for you,
Laughter for a moment, looking big, showing off for your crew.

Animals, I have seen, 
Bloodied, beaten within
