oh my, that's a sad sad kitty. Love seeing this picture with your sad senryu. I don't think we would be able to bear it if we knew all the abuse going on in the world this very second. Bless the beasts and the children

Human or animal abuse is a terrible thing..I enjoyed reading your emotive work.Great picture to go along with the writing..Our Princess cries real tears when she doesn't get her way..Thanks for stopping by..Sara

First dear poet, for chronology's sake, This write of your's most assuredly is a perfect example of the Senryu, and touching at that. I love the terse writes as you may have gathered. Though I write very little of the squirt poems, I adore them; Senryu Haiku and the sting of the Monoku's.<~~~....Secondly, and certainly not leastly, in my family we have two sorts of cat people..1) james, your's truly, who is extremely allergic..2)My precious neice, who is extremely into rescuing and housing the cuddly furballs. Her name is Samantha same last name and can be found on FB.And proud to say blood with me. This write is extremely touching and if I have your permission, I'd like to share this write with her..?? I can never understand how someone takes pleasure in abusing people or animals. Tears are an appropriate response. Good luck in the contest Constance.

Sad that anyone would willfully hurt one of Gods creatures. Woe betide them! I often pray to St Francis, the Patron Saint of all Animals except man. Thankfully many such as yourself Fight to protect such innocence.
