A silent storm is brewing within my chest
A benumbing chill sets my soul aflame
A warm welcome sets alarm bell ringing,
In the realm of hush at the dawn of dusk
do you hear the swooshing
of the waves on the sandy shore?
Do you hear the shush of the wind
as it sweeps low and hisses like
the slithering snake winding through
a graveyard in the dead of darkness?
This fear that reverberates
like the rolling thunder
with each thump of my heart—
Do you hear its deafening echoes
in the quiet of night?
A forlorn sullen moon
with its eerie silvery glow
spawns what a frightful folklore?
Beneath a disdain firmament
with its myriad peering eyes
and in this ever engulfing shadows,
Where would one find a sliver of hope?
The deception of religion
The inefficacy of prayers
The malice in man and
his galore of gods…
Why does my soul head straight
towards an all-consuming flame
like a moth from a self-imposed cocoon?

it’s lonely standing outside the cage
with the left of centre attitude
as
the majority look upon
with disdain
whatever happened to freedom of expression?
the darkness casts no shadows
now that
the sold dream has morphed
into a nightmare
and
the path to dystopia
is starting to get worn
populism has become
democracies illusion
when opinions expressed
go against the grain
whatever happened to
freedom to free speech?
a muzzled voice can’t scream
so they just point
and silently laugh
at the different
but who is laughing?
behind the light the fork tongue speaks
through blinded eyes and closed ears
they perceive it to be true
the oils blackness has now seeped
the 21st century plague has eaten
the jelly brains now blindly follow
question not
when the alarm bell rings
they all stop to sing
its tune
and those standing left of centre
are looked upon with disdain
whatever happened to the right
of having a different opinion?

From the smallest of handbells to bells that are heavy,
bells of all types make a large bevy.
Small bells are often the tinkling kind
like decorative ones in some stores we find.
There are ring-a-ling bells and bells that jingle
like jingle bells ringing when merry folks mingle.
Sleigh bells on horses evoke for me
lovely white wonderland imagery.
Other small bells women wear round their ankles.
An alarm bell that wakens me, oh, how it rankles.
There are waist bells the belly dancers often will wear
while big bells on churches call people to prayer.
Some bells sound randomly; others on queue.
There are bike bells, school bells, and cow bells too.
Of bells that chime melodies, there's more than a few.
That's what the bells called Carillon do.
Bell bottom jeans were used back in my day
and Hell's bells is an expletive some say.
The most famous bell, what might it be?
I think it's the one that's called Liberty!

When looking for a quack with spiked rates
Some try the Windowed Office of Bill Gates
Coz right on the spot
He’ll give you a shot
But be prepared to accept his dictates
His business, Microshot, you may know
Needled itself ahead of every foe
With billions of bucks
To create deluxe
Vaccine versions 2, 3, and 4.0
Yet there are many who’ve come to razz him
And treat him with deserved sarcasm
Like those who’ve found
Themselves wheelchair bound
Though Gates claims it’s just a back spasm
Now Gates wants to vaccinate the planet
With help in tow this is how they’ll plan it
By changing genes
With secret means
Which to me sounds more or less satanic
Yet there are those who want to be first in line
To get their shot with a chaser of wine
Well here’s to their health
Or rather Gates’s wealth
Which must be baked in his evil design
But when at Bill’s door you hear the death knell
That is your vaccination alarm bell
For more than malware
Coz once in his lair
You’ll know why they call his shop ‘Gates of Hell’

SATURDAY MORNING
The alarm bell has a modified
Saturday tone
And I murmur
give me 5 minutes more.
A good night’s sleep
A peaceful morning
I doze off.
Give me 5 minutes more.
I get up, make a coffee
The good feeling continues
The world is wonderful
Until the phone rings!

Morning springs,
when daylight breaks,
when alarm bell rings,
for me to wake.
Day begins
with oblivious staring
and endless pondering
for an idea to set in.
Day proceeds,
going through cyclic motions,
going at languid speed,
to reach its conclusion.
Evening falls,
ending earlier endeavors
welcoming quiet stupor
as nighttime drawls.

There was a time I was just me
quite happy that way thought I ok
but deep inside I didn't know
something not right in my piece of clay
I lived with eyes that couldn't see
a mind that truly didn't really know
having a heart that had no feeling
spiritually it was just status quo
But then a day arrived out of the blue
I heard an alarm bell sounding a ring
looking back now it was God's spirit
planting a desire to fly my wing
My heart was open for the first time
felt a desire for God this to agree
learn from Him all that's true
the desire not to be me!
God gave the desire to know Himself
rid me of the old self no longer a friend
living in Christ my saviour and king
and my life was never the same again
(This is penned focusing on the thought "...and my life was never the same again'' describing a life-changing moment in my life the moment God changed me for eternally.)

All encompassed was my fear
Such consternation knew me well
A predeliction forced a tear
As apathy tolled alarm bell
With reverence I heard that chime
Unearthliness the peels rhyme
As condemnation fell

The smile conceals, something.
Does not offer any cue.
You were still traveling
within.
You wanted to leave the world,
as it was, without cleaving
the wood, not accepting the veneer.
It rang an alarm bell.
To evolve their own persona;
good to take their own path.
The fallout was widening.This
was an insider’s story.
What an audacious withdrawl;
and you were in a silent mode like a Buddha
to uptake the film of dust
settling on the innocent rape of book.

The wind blows in from the sea.
Telling tales of misery.
Ships and men lost in the night.
Wrecked and sunk, out of sight.
Boasting, whistling, shrieking to hell.
Hear the tolling of the alarm bell.
Bending trees in the way.
Falling down in dismay.
Crashing, roaring, like a runaway train.
Across the land and back again
Nothing can withstand.
The wind is master of the land.
The wind blows in from the sea.
In summer it's calm and nice.
In winter cold as ice.
With it comes the hail and sleet.
Knocking you off your feet.
Terrible and grand.
The wind is master of the land.
