Contest Description

Just like the last contest, I have decided to do the same theme featuring Poetry Soup poets.  The first one is a good friend of mine and a very talented poet, Eve Roper.

Below are four lines from her poems.  Please choose only one;

My heart still feels those times spent in the warmth - from the poem 'What the eye sees the heart cannot forget.

Under the canopy of the pine trees we lay - from the poem 'Under the canopy of pine trees

A smile on her face and a gleam in her eye - From the poem 'Batter up.'

dust scent through cold trampled field whilst butterflies hung by their wings to dry - From the poem 'Time lost all realism.

It can be any form and any length.  HOWEVER, THE LINE NEEDS TO BE AT THE BEGINNING OR THE END.  PLEASE REFERENCE THE LINE, TO AVOID COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT.

OR IT WILL NOT BE PLACED.

This means it has to be a new poem.  Remember your poem is inspired by that one line, not the actual poem, written by Eve Roper
