Whispers of Autumn We Longingly Recall

Under the canopy of the pine trees we lay Enthralled in saffron shades of flaming fall-forest As feisty robins sing and zesty sparrows play Nestled in thick branches of evergreen foliage. Enamored by blue-sky assimilating orange vibes Twilight illuminates scarlet face of crimson arc Having kissed ruby-cheeks of blushing sundown Where bald-eagle flies conquering mountaintop. Amidst chirping birds a ghastly roar resounds -- Echoes of wildlife emanating nocturnal sounds-- As a deer, white-tailed, approaches camp grounds Ambling in glistening of starlit heavens above. Mountainous winds wheeze in ambiance of love Elaborating fervid themes evening mood invokes Awakening splendor of russet autumn dreams Applauding subtle hints in rhythms of heartbeats. Marveling air-dance of leaves red, orange, brown Lyrics of your heart spur a passionate response Flashing in moonlight a sassy, flirtatious glance Mesmerized by autumnal whispers of romance.
