First Time Around

A smile on her face
and a gleam in her eye,
zeal gets her on first.
      W A T C H
Next play, pure luck
pitcher overthrows second.
She's half-way round.
       F O C U S
Third batter bunts;
out number one at first,
She makes it to third.
       G L E A M
Sacrifice fly ball
she heads for home.
Ump bellows, "Safe!"

Thanks, Eve. Twas a good line and could be used in a thousand different scenarios. Baseball is one of the few sports I understand at all. My son played for years.
