Thoughts Travel
Every night when she closes her eyes
She sees him
Lying before her
Enticing her
Those turquoise eyes watching her
Waiting for her
Wanting her
And every night she is taken back to that place
Recalling how desired and beautiful he made her feel
Remembering the last time
Longing for the next
Wondering if his thoughts travel there too
Just as much as hers do
And with that, "a smile on her face and a gleam in her eye" take her back
