Contest Description

What to Submit?

1 original, poem in the Pleiades form only. Must start with an N.  A Pleiades has a ONE word title, {in this case starting with the letter N}, followed by 7 lines of 6 syllables each, all starting with the letter N, describing or portraying your title in some fashion.

RULES:

1. No hyphenated words or personal names may be used for a title. Names of countries, cities, states are ok.

2. Use howmanysyllables.com to check syllable counts.

3. No vulgar topics or profanity.

4. Your poem must make sense. If I can't understand what you are saying, it won't place.

5. Do not put the word "Pleiades" in your title. Only one word should be in title.

6. I'm looking for creativity, descriptive language and smooth flowing lines.

I have found N to be a challenging letter. I look forward to seeing what you all come up with.
