What to Submit?
Hi folks,
**** PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY ***
When the previous version of this contest was fired up, I was asked if the poem length could be extended to nineteen lines, allowing people to write a Villanelle, so I am setting the maximum length of poems for this at nineteen lines, but the rules still apply regarding placement of the following lines-
Line one: 'The spiral staircase made her high heels sing'
Line nine- ' From here the City churches pierced the mist'
Line sixteen ' He closed it, and, now smiling, crossed the square'
Plenty of room for enigmatic subterfuge or whatever takes your fancy, methinks.
Well, don't just sit there- off you go, then. Good luck. Viv
