DANGEROUS LIASON The spiral staircase made her high heels sing Sue climbs it to meet her married lover he’s her boss; she’s just his latest plaything she was warned about men by her mother! It‘s not just her job that earns her a rise he pours champagne as she enters the room with ‘pillow talk’ as he fondles her thighs Sue says she’s pregnant, it fills him with doom From here the city churches pierced the mist Sue says, "Divorce her, there we can get wed." she purses her ruby lips to be kissed as they tumble onto the king size bed His hands grip her throat; he calls her a whore she’s insignificant, he does not care hiding her body, he heads for the door he closed it, and, now smiling, crossed the square 1,9, 16 upgraded Version Contest Sponsored by Viv Wigley Line 1 The spiral staircase made her high heels sing Line 9 From here the city churches pierced the mist Line 16 he closed it, and, now smiling, crossed the square 5/8/18
