Contest Description

What to Submit?

1 original, poem on the theme of  Grace and Solitude. Must be a NEW write!!

Only rhyme form is acceptable. Looking for beautiful phrasing and unique word pairings. Tell me what it is that keeps you calm in the chaos. IS IT LOVE? IS IT NATURE? IS IT SPIRITUALITY?

From minimum 12 lines to 24 lines. Any rhyme scheme you like, I enjoy internal rhyme so a higher placement will result if you use it. Enclosed rhyme or rhyme scheme ABBA are not my fave so if you choose to use it expect a lower placement. Remember I am looking for exact rhyme, not close rhyme, or near rhyme or imperfect rhyme...get the picture?

Name your poem Grace and Solitude so I don't read it by mistake. I like to judge blind so help me out by not using your name or any identifying marks.

Please check your spelling and grammar, it's the least a writer should do.

WARNING  Do NOT enter any poem you like that has nothing to do with the theme or contest criteria!!

I have stopped doing contests because I am tired of submissions that don't follow the contest criteria.

I'm sorry but if I get ONE more submission that ignores the contest criteria I will STOP permanently from doing contests, so please...DON'T DO IT!!

Now after all that... write me a beauty I know I will get some extraordinary writes...dazzle me people!!
