Grace and Solitude
Grace took my hand and showed me how to live,
she said to live with great morals;
and always have dignity and forgive,
and to try to avoid quarrels;
and work to be honored with sweet laurels.
Solitude wrapped me in his arms,
he said quiet seclusion has it's charms;
let your head empty of all thoughts,
don't let forlorn set off all your alarms;
be detached, let go of all knots.
They whispered- let withdrawal be your balm;
let it be music for your calm_
