Grace and Solitude
Mid serried peaks and waterfalls
Flow crystal streams o'er ancient slate,
'Tis here I find true solitude
And with my soul, communicate.
Here I sit in quiet grace
Ne'er a sound but natures song,
Where naught to do but drink it in,
This is where my heart belongs.
So oft I come, and spent a while
To fill my lungs with mountain air,
Then feel my spirit lift and soar
And for a time... I have no cares.
