Notes About The Poem

An Emerald Parasol

I love to explore the woods in the Spring
immersed in Nature, as She surrounds me
with serenity and tranquility.
My exuberance sets songbirds to sing,
while the bumblebees and butterflies take wing;
tantalizing my sensuality.

An emerald parasol shades the scene,
providing quietude and solitude;
a respite from big city attitude.
A green paradise, somewhere in between
Eden, and Earth; if you know what I mean,
unmatched in its beauty and magnitude.

Nature rejuvenates me on my walks:
transporting me to a land without clocks.
