Contest Description

PLEASE READ THE CONTEST REQUIREMENTS

Multiple placements.

Write a NEW poem FOR THIS CONTEST ONLY on the theme of `decrepit`(do not change the word) any form (be true to the form selected as described on PS). Except for I Don't Know or Other which to me  are not forms of poetry.

Make your poems beautiful, dark, sad, deep, meaningful !

Decrepit meaning - aged, broken, battered, creaky, dilapidated, frail, etc etc

Important ******TITLE IS FOUR WORDS EXACTLY including the word decrepit ******

If you choose rhyming form (which I love) it MUST HAVE a distinct pattern, NOT a few lines that rhyme, please don't do this because I will not unravel your puzzle of a rhyme here and there !

The NO'S  -

NO double spacing, NO all bolded poems, NO all capital poems. NO, NO, NO AI poems (Yes I check on 3 or more AI detectors). NO sloppy poems, NO poems with empty white space at top or bottom. NO old poems accepted. No poem about war, politics, hate, extreme religion. No poems with notes on the bottom.

ALSO-

Check your spelling, grammar, Grammar Checker on PS is very effective for this. Check rhyming if used which can be true and/or near rhymes but your poem must clearly rhyme with an easy to follow pattern. Check your syllables if used for a chosen form, it can be PS Syllable Counter or HowManySyllables, and the PRESENTATION on the page is very important to me ! Please if you cannot center don't. Make sure you are following the rules for the form you have selected according to the forms listed on PoetrySoup

Optional, you can add a quote at the top of your poem that relates to poem, if yours put by poet, if not mention writers name

Optional, you can add images, video, audio. Should relate to poem.

POETRY SOUP RULE FOR CONTESTS -

Add nothing to the bottom of your poem, no contest info, dates, nothing.  (Optional put in Poet's Notes or at top of your poem.)   NO to putting names on poems or in titles, absolutely no to  any identifying marks! No copyright symbols or info (after contest judged of course go ahead. I Do)

Get creative and write me a poem !
