There's a thing I've done that I can't believe.
What on earth was I trying to achieve?
Things concerning the color of yellow.
Was it because I was a younger fellow?

We bought a house whose color we didn't like.
It was dull and dark, and needed more light.
That's right. We painted it a very bright yellow.

Later on, we would say, "Look for the yellow house."
Later, we said to ourselves, "What have we done?"
Now, the only yellow we like is a yellow rose.

May the yellow rose
Always refuse to fold,
Thrive and never grow old;
Ever be home within my soul,
Survivng the heat and the cold.
If the truth be told or written on a scroll,
I sincerely wish she could be stored and
Saved as treasured valuables like gold.

Yellow roses.
One stunning sight

Yellow roses.
It just seems right

Yellow roses.
She makes me write

Yellow roses.
Of them I read

Yellow roses.
Not roses red
Nor roses pink
Not roses white
Nor roses purple

Yellow roses.
Saw them differently today.
Read of a yellow rose I say.
She was named 'The Poet's Wife'.

Scented like a rose
Dressed in pink and flaxen sheets
Glinted by moonlight
Enchanting as a primrose
Floating in zephyr mystic

Premium MemberBeyond Despair

Beyond despair and off the pale
Our better day will come
To shed some rain upon the vale
Where you and I are from
It would be nice to see the place
I’ve known so well before
But is it mine, that old man’s face?
A tall slim lady at the door
Is that you, darling? And you say
Of course it’s me, who else?
I’m here again with you to stay
To talk about your health
To tell you news, to sing you songs
To share with you this room
Just look at my new yellow rose
Tomorrow it will bloom!

Premium MemberCome And See

Come and see, the big bright red and pink bee. She is sitting on a flower of yellow with glee, eating crackers with warm brie. Look the angelic butterfly is on one knee, is she making a plea? Come and see, the orange grasshopper is pouring rose tea. For you and for me, in China flowered cups under the oak tree. This fun dream I do not want to flee, but I really need to pee.

Premium MemberLove or Bust Is For Me

Love or bust is for me, no more sadness or I will flee. People need to be free, that is the key. To fly like a big yellow bee, in the blue sky is my plea.
Love or bust is for me, let go and be carefree. Paint with pretty paints the sea, paint with your words a big oak tree. Now enjoy love with a hot cup of rose tea.

Premium MemberEnglish Yellow Rose

Born and raised in the middle of Bristol,
a yellow rose grew up strong but wistful.
In the middle of an English garden she grew up.
Amongst the grass, not far from a country club.
Soon in life she found herself alone, with her troubles walking around on her own.
She stood up in that garden
with a new rosebud to feed,
She had to show her spines,
the other face to be harden.
That English yellow rose needs to be cut from her roots
to keep on flourishing again
in a new beginning.

The Vicar sniffed searching for the culprit
As it rose it overtook the pulpit
Stained glass windows wept
As the brimstone crept
The choir hummed so as not to gulp it

Premium MemberA Bold Yellow Rose

A bold yellow rose, on it grows
through days of intense heat and chill.
The sun and kiss of dew it knows.
A bold yellow rose, it grows, it grows!
Winter finds it in sweet repose
hiding its beauty till Spring’s thrill.
A bold yellow rose, on it grows
through days of intense heat and chill.

The purplish crimson sun's now arising,
And buds are waiting on yellow rosebush.
Yesterday lessons for today are guiding,
As birds take violet skies of dawn hush.
The youth grew so quickly, time's ambush!

A YELLOW ROSE

Every time I look at a yellow rose, I see life goes on no matter what.
Yellow, like the sun rising giving life for the birds start singing, people
waking up and moving around, plants welcoming the sun and so on.
Its scent and multiple set of soft, smooth petals portray the fullness
and sweetness of life when everything is all right and its thorns that
prick and can cause bleeding depict the pain and sorrow life brings.
