Weak I became
Wrapped in a heavy cloak of guilt and shame
Lost and unable to reclaim
My feet were once firm
now trembled with fear
Afraid to stand before the Lord, my heart unclear
But God, in his mercy, sent me angels of grace
Who listened to my story and showed a gentle face
They helped me rise reminding me of God's love
And whispering to me, "You are not alone, God loves you, and he'll receive you with open arms."
He will embrace you and dress you in nice clothes
Like the father did for the prodigal son
"Welcome, welcome, welcome home" " he'll say to you
With no judgment, no condemnation, just pure love
I was blessed with words of affirmation and encouragement,
With their tender love and support,
I felt peace, and my heart renewed.
These are the people we all need
A blessing to the soul
A reminder we're not alone, making us whole
Let's help people with ears that hear and words that heal
And pray for one another, that love and hope may appear

When two people love each other
It’s like the confluence of two streams..
and the two of you immediately begin making memories
wrapped in each other’s dreams.
You feel happy, safe and comfortable inside your blanket
just the two of you
but as you add family and friends you find how easily
your blanket wraps around them too.
And you discover life is even happier and more exciting too
as the blanket of dreams they brought with them
wraps around you too.
And from this confluence of dreams you find
you’re happy with the direction your life is taking…
with the path your heart has chosen
with the memories you’re making.
Memories once made…you forever want to keep
so your mind finds a quiet place…a peaceful room
and tucks each on safely off to sleep.
Until your rivers meet up again
and, as you’re sitting on the shore,
a word or sentence spoken or a smile
wakes up a memory you’ve shared before.
And you find there is no place you’d rather be
than seated by that stream…
sharing a memory you’ve made together
while wrapped in each other’s dreams.

It was as real as you see,
Actions painted by places and fleeting allusions.
Over time, overkill, over the top
Can you feel my will?
Look me in the eyes as I take you,
To that secret place where I can be with you,
And you make me feel like you.
Wrap me in your arms.
Life is not linear, nor straight-edged.
I lift my eyes to the coming of one,
I lower my tone to calm our bond.

opens his mouth, crimson tongue of seduction,
velvet blanket, petals by, as I delve,
a plunderer of pleasure, my lips, a ship of delight,
charting the uncharted waters of his terrain.
guess you could say we're having a real 'cutthroat' relationship - I'm making the final edit....with a scalpel.

But you loved me for the girl i was
Not the girl i am nor the girl i was becoming
Not loving me with my flaws
But loving me for my flaws
So together you can tie me down
You wrapped me in your poisonous arms
And whispered sweet nothings in my ears
You suffocated me with your toxic charm
And made me believe it was love that i feared
You loved me for my brokenness
For the shards of my shattered dreams
You loved me for my vulnerability
For the weaknesses that made me scream
You loved me for my dependence on you
For the way i couldn't breathe without you
You loved me for my loss of identity
For the way i lost myself in you
But I'm breaking from your toxic grasp
I'm learning to love myself,to heal, to mend
I'm finding my voice, my strength, my way
And I'm leaving you and your toxic love to decay
Your love was a prison, a chain that bound
But I'm shattering the shackles,I'm spreading my wings
I'm flying awag from your toxic embrace
And I'm finding my own way , my own pace

My love was wrapped into gestures
Instead of words
Into concerns and nagging
Teasing and smiling
The sigh I gave in fondness
Whenever you pouted over something
When I remembered what mattered
Beyond days and nights
The favorite coffee, the way you slept
Not the product name
But I knew your soap smell
My love was wrapped into doing
Instead of saying
Leaving an extra blanket
An umbrella, a small question
Sparing a smile when I did not feel like
Pulling you tight, it will be alright
Patting your head in praise
Letting you stay or go
Whatever will let your rise
My love was wrapped bittersweet
Instead of angel like
You had to look to find
The sugary parts
Taste it thoroughly before
Leaving a mark
It carried a tinge that will last
Beyond the first touch
Like a faded mingle in future
Of a memorable past.

See that slender tree standing there
shooting upward in the air
with vine pointed towards the sun
and leaves falling abundantly to the ground,
the roots are planted firmly in the ground
and the vines wrapped closely around the bud
absorbing all the energy
oh what cruelty awaits thee
Layers and layer of vine
Warped around the slender tree
Sucking the life out of the trunk
The nutrients are gone and
and the bark stares frantically in the dark
I grab a knife and start cutting them way
And at last the misery suddenly fades away
And the tree could breathe fresh air
Desire is wrapped around the vine
You have got to leave that place
Before the wind sets in.

First six lines of my triolet entitled “Wrapped in White” followed by my contrasting six lines which I’ll entitle “Crestfallen in Snow”
I long to tread upon the snow
in hush of winter, wrapped in white;
in feathered mounds serenely go.
I long to tread upon the snow.
The boughs hang low; no wind doth blow.
My love, come see the wondrous sight!
Who wants to trudge in knee-high snow
especially in cold of night
when wind chill factor’s ten below?
Cars slide off roads and fierce winds blow.
Boughs break and icicles hang low.
Stay, Dear, instead, by our firelight!

Wrapped gifts show great value and importance
Prepared with love to receivers and loved ones
Small and big gifts shared unwrapped or no ribbons
Are done with haste like cakes without icings' boon

I was wrapped in autumn's embrace ~ as she shed her withered leaves of lace
her gown was crimson and gold ~ autumn's reverie in meadow and wold*
she travels upon windswept chords ~ in apple orchards and fields of gourds
autumn nights beneath a harvest moon ~ I hear haunting calls of a loon

With eyes soft, gentle as kindness, his mystery
Breathless kisses that will surely go down in history
~~~
With tender hints of happiness, elation glistening
Through the spirit, into the heart – God’s listening
~~~
With feelings flowing beyond hope, through grace
So everywhere I go, whatever I do, I feel his embrace

The gift of receiving,
The joy of sharing,
The pleasures of togetherness,
The harmony of the same belief,
Wrapping myself with dazzling colours,
Embracing His light,
Celebrating His birth,
Reflecting His love,
A new carol,
Glad tidings,
Evergreen songs.

I want no world
For you are my world
let go of me!
for you are wrapped so tightly around my world
and because of you
I love the light skinned
Because of you
I love the pink lips??
Loving You will be a new dawn
I'll simply hold your hand
and look into your eyes
all thoughts, all delights and passions
Will melt into you
I don't want a fairytale,
I want to be there!!

Reflection of light,
like the Moon that’s wrapped in stars;
You are not alone.

I present myself to you,
And only you
Dressed in red
From head to toe
Adorned with a
Cream-colored ribbon
Waiting to be unwrapped
During the holiday, but
You revealed my mind
Thoughts of despair and hate
Instead of soft curves
Under the red lace
And for that,
You ran from the dark person
A person I don’t claim to be
But can’t hide from
No matter how hard I tried
Splatters of blood
Behind my eyes
Freeing myself from
The disgust on your face
Hanging by a thread of
Ribbon which once
Beckoned to be slid open
As a gift to you
