Premium Member Come to the Waters with Compassion

Receiving an invitation from the Holy Trinity,
During my childhood I developed an affinity.
I know I welcomed this communication.
From the Holy Trinity, receiving an invitation.

I learned of divine love from our Maker,
How important to be a giver not a taker.
Blessings bestowed from our Lord above,
From our Maker, I learned of divine love.

Forgiving is one aspect of compassion.
To me the hardest to accept and fashion.
A compassionate heart brings beauty to living.
One aspect of compassion is forgiving.

So I forgive, it doesn't say it's OK,
Now my inner peace will stay that way.
I am convinced it's the right way to live.
It doesn't say it's OK, so I forgive.

Helping others, care with empathy.
Offering encouragement, not just sympathy.
Letting them know when needed I'll be there,
With empathy, helping others with care.

Premium Member Create a Love

Create a love

Create. Create something. Something good.
Something. Something constructive and uplifting
Some words, visions, something, what gives

Gives to live, to life, to live. To the hoped life
Want something, I know, the life. Lost a life
Dried world. Dried land. No rain. Dried eyes

Mine. I can’t see the view. I don’t want. Meet. Life
Don’t call me. Life. Don’t. I have no loving home
A home. The family. Illusion. Created from love

Daydreaming is the destroyer of life. That is not love
Hmm. My dreams are aggressive. I can’t drop them
My dreams are my enemies. Dreams from love

“Dropped you a love”, said Satan with compassion.
“Yes, this is the reality, my Master”, I answered.
“Then drop all, and follow my light,, said Satan.

Long this way. Where is the end? Where? Tell!
“There is no end to your way”, answered my Satan.
Hmm. Human life is immortal. Hmm. No way out.

Create something? A love? I needed. But why?
“You are in my cemetery. Love here”, said Satan
A mortal wants love. For happiness. Forget the life

I create an illusion
For family, for love
For the mind creation

For the honor
Of the past
And future

Speech on Memorial day

Value people when they have life
Strangely, people understand lately
Everything is loud and clear, yet blinds
Still, people find it challenging, but why? honestly

Wait, let’s unpack the fact.
Dead people do not speak
Neither response is to pick a fight
They are calm and quiet
Due to which they candlelight
Celebrate the opponent's flight
Words flow with compassion disguised
The love poured out seamlessly
Memorial services filled with sighs
If he wakes up again endlessly?
All the love talks bag up sky’s
Life goes on as usual

Two kinds live in the world.
Loving people keep loving
Evil people keep hating.
Living in a broken world

Premium Member IMPERFECT ROSE

IMPERFECT ROSE*
the imperfect rose,
once vivacious and colorful under the summer sun,
its petals are now wilted, its colors faded and gone.
    its time has passed
         its dance is done.

the imperfect rose cries many petals,
last vestiges of her beauty wait for the wind to carry them to their rest.
each petal papery and thin
lies on the lush green grass, its veins blushing
glowing pink in the setting sun and to silence it doth humbly acquiesce.

even in decay, the imperfect rose holds a certain grace,
a reminder of glory days now past.
rose petals may be temporary
but are eternal in memories of love and sharing
enough to weather the storm, to outlast.

the imperfect rose
has thorns that make one bleed.
forgive the rose of its imperfections with compassion
for of her thorns the imperfect rose doth gladly concede~
we are all petals of imperfection, might you accede?

Divine Spirit within me
Coiled like a sinuous snake
This bubbles with energy.
It creates an inner ache.

There's restlessness in my soul.
There's an unquenchable thirst.
It leads me towards my goal.
In this Spirit I'm immersed.

My consciousness is waken.
Conscience fills with compassion.
My existence is shaken.
Life is light with dispassion.

My self-realization
Leads me to liberation

Premium Member Remind Me Lord How Blessed I Am

Remind me, Lord, how blessed I am!
I have no disease, from which to fear.

Nor, do I live to be a winning poet!
I am just average, and I do know it.
A family outstanding, fills my heart with joy.
A grandchild, off with honors, to University!
A Varsity-lettered, humbled, grown boy!

Remind me, Lord, how blessed I am!
I outlived a most dreaded, deadly, disease..

Let me live each day, full of gratitude!
Spare me the sin of writing, lazy platitudes.
Above all, like you, teach me how to forgive.
And with compassion, with joy, everyday to fully live!
Not to take, but with a joyous heart, to fully give!

Premium Member What Makes Me Smile

Greeted by the sound of the ocean all sadness eases away
as I skim the surface of a smile, I suddenly make headway
Showered by rainfalls I am filled with the scent of petrichor
I smile, at the thought that God has cleansed me to the core;

Connected to a Higher Power I am an exquisite human being
smiling for a thousand reasons that only I can totally illumine
Invented out of dust I have become the beating heart of love
and I have a million reasons to smile un-mentioned there of

Loved by many understood by few, I am the twinkle of a star
I smile cuz deep inside I know there is nothing that can mar
Abled and armed with compassion and passion I am strong
I smile because I know I am, the breath of everything I am

What makes me smile is the thought that I am never alone
I have Angels at my side, that I don't need to call or phone
In a heartbeat they are there right beside me everywhere
in sickness or in health I know His Love is always, there !

Tiger

Oh dear feline, with compassion like mine.

Oh long claws, etched in your paws.

How dare would someone like me, compare to such entity as you.

Black, Orange and White, only such colors, would suit your being.

Jump so elegant, I dare not say a thing.

The Lion may be the king, but you can be the queen.

Premium Member Growing pains

The clues
Words in the news
Protest
Unrest
Angry people everywhere
Seems nobody does care
Words flung
Stung
Full of dung
Promises made
In time fade
Wanting a better day
Just can't find our way
So here we stay
Good man gone bad
Feeling like he's been had
No difference between right or wrong
Trying just to stand strong
World's tension is about to break
Someones bound to make a mistake
Snap
Crap
Screaming for this or that
While all the time passing the hat
Haters pocket getting fat
Uncertainty fills the air
Life never promised to be fair
Peace by fear
To the future we shed a tear
We fight
No clue who is right
So confusing
Mankind is loosing
Of our own choosing
We are walking
The voices in charge of talking
Lead us in the wrong way
Yet we can't stay
Lost in today
Lost in the riddle
Somewhere in the middle
The answer lies
As time flies
Yesterday now looks so clear
I fear
The answers come to late
To change fate
At any rate
Growing pains is what we feel
With compassion we shall heal
The painful step into tomorrow
A step closer to a time of no sorrow
This is what I see
My opinion of how things be

Mindfulness

Be mindful of what you consume, for it shapes your being.

Nourish your vessel with compassion, as your diet influences your inclinations.

Choose your music judiciously, for rhythm resonates deeply with your soul.

Be mindful of what you read, as words penetrate straight to your heart.

Always practice prudence, for the devil’s trickery often hides in the guise of necessity.

Premium Member This Woman I Adore

A warm summer night
Sky filled with stars
A beautiful woman
Adored from afar

Sparking Eyes
Pearls in the ocean
Skin Silky and soft
Pure poetry in motion

Soul fill with Compassion
Heart filled with love
A friend for life
Like a gift from above

Light blue Skies
Wispy white clouds
I look in your eyes
And shout out loud

Sun sets over the ocean
A bright orange glow
My only wish
Is the world to know

This woman I adore
To the end of the earth

MOM, MY GUIDING LIGHT

Her heart is a warm, golden light
Patience is her title
In a distressed nine months, she held onto me

Facing changes and discomfort in her body
At the edge of losing herself, she held on
Waiting patiently with love and care to see my face

She held me with joy, with tears in her eyes when she held me
Her breast was my comfort and my survival
Her breasts sagged, but she still fed me with love and joy
Ignoring the physical changes she had

My cries kept her awake
Her hands soothe me
Her voice brings me joy
Singing lullabies with her sweet voice with compassion to put me to sleep
Sleep was not hers when I was awake
She woke up several times to see if I was okay

My discomfort, her heartache
My smile, her joy
When I'm disheartened, she inspires me
Her tongue is full of encouragement
She holds me up with her tongue when I fall
Her words and prayers keep me going

What love I have got
This love, a great treasure I hold
A great gift God showered on me??

I love you, mama, ?
