She was enrapt by the glow and mesmerized
by what appeared to be some sort of orb,
bright faceted amber that was crystallized.
She struggled to comprehend and to absorb
the meaning of such a gilded gift of gold...
It was a seed of wisdom, sent as foretold.
Her mind was captured by fantasies reaped
and saw the future through prisms of glass.
Her gift of visions was baffling, but steeped
with wonderful events to come; en masse.
The glow encircled her head like a wreath
surrounding her as she stood upon the heath.
Fields of wildflowers then flourished ten fold.
She walked with highlanders for many years,
curing the sick, aiding the poor, young and old,
dispelling myths, defusing people of their fears.
She became a legend; the angel sent from above
blessed with a kind heart, overflowing with love.

In days long gone when first the quill
Fearful was I to mar the virgin page,
Lest error should stain my spirit's all
But words of Wisdom did my teacher engage—
'When error comes, do not erase in shame
For mistakes, like stepping stones,
Shall lead to mastery if thou dost not condemn.’
When errors be concealed
'Tis like a cloth pierced with holes so none shall it defend.
So rather mark them out with purpose true,
And begin again to mend with ink anew.
Forth my teacher says—
'Let not thy errors weigh thee down with dread
For learning's a path that twists and turns.’
'Tis so with life, as book and quill,
The path we tread is filled with pratfall'
But with this my teacher stood to declare—
‘So when thy steps go astray, do not despair,
But rather view the errors as guide
For 'tis by misadventure thou shalt find
The path to wisdom thou dost seek inside.’
‘Thy life, like a book, is writ with care,
Each word a step along thy destined way.
And should thou seek to hide thine errors made,
Thy character shall not be shown that day.’
Errors do not give anyone's art,
But hiding them mars one's true fate
Life is naught but pages yet to fill
But only if your mind is at still
Cast away fears, let them fly!
Courage reveals the path needs to buy
If you open your heart and spread your wig.
Confusion and depression scream
Of all the tension that does scheme
Reaching into the depths of the heart
Making the feelings there come apart
Recklessly wrecking passions
Feelings of tender compassion
All the joy God sends us
With His gentle spirit
What do I do when I don’t know where to turn?
Will I ever succeed where I’ve failed again and again?
What’s come over me… this destructive sensation…
Only God living in me can dissuade this temptation…
To allow the enemy to disillusion me
Feelings so alive that they chill me
With my spirit they send a plea
To let the enemy take over my dreams
But God, my Father, highly esteems
The child who keeps pursuing
The blessings sent from above
Blessings of hope, faith and love
Flown on the wings of a dove
Where do I go when I can’t find my way?
Will God answer me when I send up a prayer…
Pleading for the Holy Spirit to comfort my heart
And guide me through these troubles with hope
That tomorrow will bring second chances,
Renewed purpose, dreams that are alive…
And fill up my spirit with God on the inside.
I want God on the inside, the answer to my prayers…
My heavenly Father, showing that He cares.
I want Him to go with me, through the good and the bad
Revealing the best in me, sharing happiness when sad
I need Him with me – alive in my soul,
Sharing His wisdom for my worry
Filling me with a new reason
He is my real peace
What do I do when I don’t know where to turn?
Without this man called Jesus I will burn.
I can’t take the chance of listening to the enemy
He would love to leave me hopeless and afraid
But, with Jesus, I know I can always pray
And He will answer, with answers that portray
True love from God, love that I depend on
The God of whom we do adore
has given us a gift to receive
it's one that brings transformation
if we would truly believe
Be rid of all anxious thoughts
believing to have no spirit of fear
these things don't belong to God
so we must not have them near
God's gift is of divine power
such that makes us a new creation
proving God to be Lord of all
for He's birthed us with salvation
Also we receive God 's love
fill our hearts with love divine
this love gives us new desires
so our love actions are our sign
A sound mind also we receive
filled with Godly wisdom and insight
to use in this world for His glory
till Christ returns dressed in white
( ''For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.'')
2 Timothy ch. 1 v. 7 (ESV)
There is quilt of comfort made with silver threads.
For friends and families of alcoholics, that have given
up, and just shake their weary heads.
You cannot ever on your own power save an alcoholic.
To play God~~is a pure waste of time and frolic!
Nor dare not play the superiority game.
And look down on them with puffed up pride and
arrogant shame.
You have to stop being a codependent, rescuing them.
Sobriety is gift from God, a wellness robe with a gold hem.
Right at this minute from Maine to Rangoon~.
An AA meeting opening doors to those in recovery in just
minutes, very soon!
Whilst we write about how disgusting and awful they are,
We, ourselves are not perfect, no, not by far!
We overeat, we overspend, use painkillers galore and yet?
We are blind to our own moral inventory
We get off on painting 'them' as evil, but give ourselves all
humam glory?
Children at the age of twelve attend AA meetings.
And we....we wag our tongues with character assassination
beatings.
You don't have this disease! You just were blessed not to
have the DNA to be one,so please with all meanness surcease!
You can detach from them but love them still.
You, yes you, can go to Alanon, there's a Twelve Step Program
designed just for you, just up the hill!
Alanon members grow strong beyond belief,
They share their pain, but better, look into their own lives and
stop living in endless hurt amd grief.

"Serenity Prayer"
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot
change...the courage to change the things I can..and the
wisdom, to know the difference!

Poem # 1294
I celebrate my beloved and that which made her
The impassioned supercharged tenderness of her heart
The inexhaustible treasures of warmth and compassion
The strength that in horror retains beauty and clarity
I celebrate her heart. I celebrate her heart.
I celebrate my beloved and her spiritual masters
Leonardo Da Vinci, Monet, Michelangelo, Jesus
Her gentle wisdom, heavenly softness and ethereal majesty
Her mind focused on the exhalted and beautiful
Her unrelenting passion for the eternal
I celebrate her soul. I celebrate her soul.
I celebrate the sun and the earth, the rain and the trees
The cold perfect magnificence of the universe
The enlightened ecosystemic wisdom of nature
The warm luscious gentleness of woman's body
I celebrate the world. I celebrate the world.
I celebrate human will and individuality
The glorious co-creator within the universe
The seeker of justice and knowledge
The craftsman and fountainhead of progress
I celebrate mankind. I celebrate mankind.
I celebrate my beloved, for she contains all that is beautiful
And in her nature, God and civilization produce the most glorious consummation known to man
That reconciles pieces and gives a unified paradise.
Awaken, my soul, to the majesty of the universe.
Awaken, my soul, to the greatness of human spirit.
Awaken, my soul, to the glory of God.
Awaken, my soul, to the beauty of my beloved.
A high price paid when war declared,
Peace retreats when no wisdom spared.
Deaf to reason and foresight blind,
Blood and battle plagues mankind.
Lives are shattered once begun,
Death of legions profits none.
Except the mongers perched on high,
Who reap rewards while good men die.
Shipped abroad on foreign waters,
Pawns are made of sons and daughters.
Fought with sheer determination,
And affects each generation.
Bullets fly while parents weeping,
Bombs will drop while children sleeping.
A body count's sad conclusion,
Carnage marks this mad confusion.
There's remnants from every nation,
Who sought for emancipation.
When will we feel the final sting,
And when at last will freedom ring?
An endless clash where no one wins,
So who will pay for all our sins?
The price of peace you can't ignore,
But what's the total cost of war?
14 Coursing!
Reflection one,
Gematria is revealing,
14 is “Dai”, enough, done?
Tzoros are healing,
Rav C. Shumulevitz wrote “Con”,
Or “With” feeling “Busha”
For your missed mission,
Tzoros have done annealing,
Are no longer needed? Redundant?
14 also is “Zahav” or Gold,
Precious as a watershed?
Wisdom from Tzoros’ toll?
Speaking, thus the rock bled?
Small steps, downsize the goal,
Reframe anguished cries instead,
Wishful thinking? Fatigue taking hold?
Mussar to the head,
And to the heart “B’HisPaalus” bold,
7th inning stretch? Bullpen retread,
Journey & Destination are one fold!
In my very first apartment,
Found in long-ago December,
Was an A/C in the window,
Which I clearly can remember.
Since the occupant was moving,
She encouraged me to buy it;
But the fifty dollars that she asked –
I couldn’t justify it.
I figured she’d just leave it there,
For she was southern-bound
And surely in her brand-new digs,
An A/C would be found.
But no, she ripped it from the sill
To show me who was boss;
And smack inside of winter’s chill,
I didn’t feel the loss.
I shrugged it off ‘til summer came,
Then I was bathed in sweat;
So thinking back on what I did
Infused me with regret.
For twenty bucks, I bought a fan,
Bemoaning all the while
The fact that for a little more,
I could have cooled in style.
Mistakes allow us to mature
And wisdom may emerge.
The lesson that I learned is that
At times you’ve gotta splurge!
Painting my soul in inks; that clumps my sincerity
Heart home my hands; to ache the nature's artistry
Hope is not dying forever; the fades of time
Hero of the grace; death note the books its permanent form
Publisher clearing up fame; rest on the words rope's lead
It won't tarry for blue; disgusting to force it for plead
Bewilderment of ideas in your illusions; book the one you think beneath predicts
Booing the chase of endeavours; cease not focus to your convenience forfeits
For title not we write, right is that to heal
Treasure not means to live; in it I found my meal
Aiding others to see, to rid off drowning in life's sea
Plight my heart tie; unties minds dismissal
For liberalization I hand sketch; a wonderful missal
That front attainment; one in grace be man so ambrosial
Lighting the universe; with one ancient cord
The power of unrelentingness; a tool of little mix in words
Regarding sense of bearing; for individual rewording
It is of my freewill; forever to cease not still
Truly, I borrowed my heart to earth; I surrendered it to poetry drill
Forging ahead the diagram; the world shall return to work its will
Happy world international poetry day
