Premium Member Why Not Rooster Pecked

There is a reason rooserpecked is not a word
And henpecked is not thought to be absurd.

''why not''

.

   because you'd fall
       in love with
             me

Why not write in the infinite sky?

Why not write in the infinite sky?
So the words would flow in all directions,
We would tell stories of how it all began,
Of how thought appeared long before the stars,
And the truth was born from the absurd, the unthinkable.

Is life a drifting boat, without a rudder and captain?
The more we think, the more we lose ourselves
In the running waters that flow into solitude.
The sea doesn't know time - always a mystery -
Just like dreams, which navigate profound worlds.

With each dawn, we grow old into a new world,
Full of gaps and abysses where the future lives,
In a house with infinite doors and empty rooms.
Why not write in the infinite firmament,
Instead of on a flat computer screen?

Why not me?

It's 3 am and I want to know why?
Why does it had to end with goodbye?
Why my heart is shattered and your eyes just stare?
Why it has to be me, while you doesn't even care?
Why not me, the one you want to keep?
Why can't you see, you are the only thing I need?
Why do you have ambiguity?
Why can't you hold me for eternity?
Why there's no clear yes or no?
Why keep me waiting and not letting me go?
How can I stop?
Where do I put the dot?
That's not what I want
but is that how you want?

Tell me why not you

TELL ME WHY NOT YOU

It has always been you
Looking into your eyes
I wonder what good I did in my past life
Tell me why not you

You embody perfection in your imperfection
I see
Nature must have had a hand in our connection
Tell me why not you

I feel a surge of happiness
Me with you is a powerful force
Standing against the extremities of the world

You question “why me”
With a smile that lights my face
Staring into the eyes that drowns me in love
I ask, why not you?

Baby, there is your answer.

why not her

.

             if i kiss
               hern
            mine lips
              would
              silently
              rejoice
    but mine cerebrum’s
               digits
               would
             with loud

Premium Member Why Not Be Friends

Thirsty Donkey went to the flowing stream,
Shocked to find a tiger, about to scream.
"We are friends, both need a drink",
Tiger said "calm down and think,
Not being enemies, let's be a team".

Marry me Bluebird
I love you that much
It's you and me baby
Let our hearts touch
I know I'm a dreamer
I dream about you
And a day in our lifetimes
When we'll say, I do

Why Not
Miracle Man
4/16/2024

To God, we sometimes,
may question why me?
Then we wonder if God,
has heard our plea.
When faith has grown weak,
and we’ve missed God’s plot.
Strong faith always dictates,
not why me, but why not.

Why NOT me?

Why NOT me?

In the shadow of the womb I lay.
Tiny and helpless, not yet on display.
Unknown to the world, silently I grow;
A life in waiting, with oh, so much to show.

But fate decides, with a cruel twist;
My future uncertain, in this rollercoster abyss,
Cast aside, before I can even breathe;
My tiny heart is draining, unable to seethe.

Do they know my pain, my silent cries;
As they take away my one chance to rise?
In the folly of their choice I was made.
A lost soul, not wanted, trapped in the depths of their parade.

Unseen, unheard, my existence denied.
My potential extinguished, as they decide.
But in the shifting dance of life and death,
I'll remain just a whisper, a forgotten breath.

For those who choose to overlook,
The beauty in me, the life they forsook;
Remember this in the depths of your heart,
I was here, I did exist, I was a part.

Now I’m in the arms of the one who never cast away,
Where I know I can sleep peacefully, and safely lay.
For even if no one on the earth will take a gift from the creator,
I’ll forever accept him as my life giving savior!

Why Not

Time ambles on
separating each day
with uncontrolled grief
I was overcome by the pretty
all the birds sang to me
like a dream, forever searching

The Dream That Answers Why Not

The torch has been passed,
The glow if that candle lives on
The answers to the dreams that never were,
Are now left for us to carry on.
The two young brothers who
Gave us dreams, hopes , and
Promises,
We remember them all for as long as we remember their memories live.
And now we face the question again today,
Do we fulfil their prophecy,
Is it time we dream things that never were and elect this day.
Elect the spirit, the hopes and dreams of those young men and keep that
Memory,
Elect the young man's son Robert F Kennedy

Premium Member Why Not Wear Your Hair Natural

Why don’t you wear your hair natural? He asked his friend.
Nevaeh said it might disturb some people, to orbit it might send.
But he kept it up, finally making it kind of an offhanded dare.
When he saw it naturally he said “Oh man! What beautiful hair!”

Nevaeh had so many compliments, she kept wearing it that way.
She said to her pal Bill, thank you for tormenting me that day.
I have never felt more natural or beautiful before.
He was excited too, for he wanted to make her his “forevermore”.

Why Not Just Before That

Seconds after shaking my head
in benign amusement,
I got it,
our social class was a major determinant
