Fallacious Wars

Fallacious wars

The war in Ukraine disturbs me greatly
Russia invaded and invasion is as we know illegal
with few exceptions like when NATO attacked
Serbia, Bombed Belgrade hit the Chinese embassy and laughed about it.
Not to forget the invasion of Iraq and Syria and other smaller forgettable wars where the people got what they deserved.
But that's the way it is, two fractions can't be telling the truth at the same time and when they try to it is called propaganda.
Russia today will not tolerate NATO troops which
are The US, foreign legion, a war machine looking
for a war where peace might intrude.
The problem in the western hemisphere is simply due to our greed, wanting the minerals other countries have and scheming how to destroy these
places in the name of the political system we erroneously call democracy.
As we know, all wars a wrong, but some wars are
are wronger than others.

Abused and Overworked

If there is one piece in the whole world that works more than any other,
that works more than a machine, and that works more than the most
hard working type in the eastern and western hemisphere combined!!
It is the HANDS of ANY, ONE, PARTICULAR, PERSON.

The hands of humanity are among the most abused pieces in history.
They are put through so much punishment it doesn't matter if its intentional, careless, or even unintentional. The pain in the muscles and the creaking in the bones moan out in exhaustion.

I will say this: You think that person has had a hard day? try being a pair of hands under all that workload and THEN talk to me about being overworked!

Premium Member Not Without Blame

While condemning Putin, let us recall
That Americans are not blameless, after all,

Guilty, too, of invading our weaker neighbors
Increasing our land area by rattling sabers.

We forced the weaker Spain Florida to cede
Drove the Mexicans out of Texas, I believe,

Cheated the Indians out of their native land
Our destiny from coast to coast to expand.

We took protectorates after World War II:
Guam, Samoa, Puerto Rico, and others, too,

In fact, we started the Spanish-American war
To gain control in the Western hemisphere.

Putin is evil, and wrong for what he is doing
Like Hitler his territorial aggression pursuing,

But, we need to remember history’s lessons
And, recalling our own national aggressions,

Decide we must put an end to any awful war
And swear by our sovereignty, war no more!

Premium Member The Gushing Tears of Passion

To the tenderness stream
When we initially met, it was a graceful turn.
Dreaming
Around the bend in the copious spring
She was conceived.
Naturally out of a lonesome spot
In my passionate heart
At the deepest level of my angelic being
Starting in the western hemisphere
It's a feeling of yearning.
With hungry haste that craves the longing.
I wandered all the dulcet ways to Heaven.
It was centered on the seventh dazzling sky.
With my heart and spirit as well,
From the bitterness of a youthful passion that split
A person with many experiences
Who is the most enthralled by her charm?
She inquired as to where we had first met.
We began singing simultaneously.
Such a superb delight
That's where we've got our knuckles curled up.
On the sand of cuddles
I am sinking, my friends, and I am enthralled.
She swooped down to me, twirling in the horizons.
When will we have a farewell drawing?

Empty Icons I

Empty eyes of the empirical sum
Empty heads of the ruling elite
Change the channel on
the TVs alternative news feed

Slip into the the next digital stream
Stream the unknown data
Into the world wide oblivion

Hear the open circuits buzz
As machinery Hummms

We bow our heads to empty icons
Emojis, iPhones and Windows to some
Empty Icons sit on vacant shelves
A hollow man, a false deity

Built of things best left unseen, unsung
Things in-between the seams of reality
We see these vacant eyes wondering the corridors

Of a steel Labyrinth in a Western Hemisphere
Alone in an mad American
empire of intellectual apes

Dream the dream of empire and empty icons

Empty eyes of the empirical sum
Sum of all parts divided apart
Empty heads of the ruling elite

Slip in the the next digital stream
Stream the unknown data
to the world wide oblivion dark!

When Plains Become Deserts Life Dies Forever

Flowers need much rain,
their petals are very dry,
their stems are too weak;
Nature's future is bleak,
draught is a terrible bane,
not a boon for a butterfly!

Clouds are thin, transparent, and frail,
and soon will lament and scorch...
meeting the flaming hot torch;
silent ravens hide in the branches
of the spruces where they sadly chill!

Glaciers melt and grizzling bears wander,
whales migrate from the Western Hemisphere
to the farthest ends of the North Hemisphere;
floods increase and cities are drowning in water.

Most emotions are stirred by true feelings,
and not having these is expressing sadness;
is the above sun a life-giver or a destroyer,
can it burn all the grass with its scorching heat,
not leave a trace of it and induce a bitter bleat?
When plains become deserts life dies forever!

Haiti

In Western hemisphere located
“The Pearl of the Antilles”
Thus, for all formerly called
Was due however, its natural beauty
For the Hispaniola Island
It is only a small western portion

With 2680 meters of altitude
Pic la selle stands up
And both the Atlantic and the Caribbean Sea
As that sentry, guarding the infinity
Of shipwrecked pieces of black suit history

Patriot and martyr, was his illustrious son
The slave Toussaint L'Ouverture
Reading and writing, also known
For later, the revolution to join
And with all others under the same allegiance
Of freedom, making the great foundation

Premium Member A Love Letter To New Delhi

The western hemisphere must seem far away.
However, I know you think of me each day.
Although you still reside outside of New Delhi,
together with you is where I want to be.
How I would like to board a flight to the old country.
We would be back together; just you and me!

Shortest Day Trickery

SHORTEST DAY TRICKERY

Again December 23 is almost here
Frost’s darkest evening of the year,
Ok. But what really bugs me
Is that it is the date when we
Are actually closer to the sun
By three million miles - no I’m not making fun.
It’s like going to a supermarket where
It advertises mega-bargains in hardware -
Twenty-five percent off everything,
And then finding that we are paying
Three times the normal price in the western hemisphere.
Seems to me there’s a con trick here.
We’re being ripped off, short-changed somehow.
Getting a steer, having paid for a cow
Getting the short end of the stick
Like being victim of some card trick
I mean who would buy a heater that
Got colder as you moved your chair closer?
Instead of Shortest Day it should be renamed
Shortest End of the Stick Day.
