Vortex

A vortex of energy surrounds me,

Its shared collectively.

Full of possibility,

And my responsibility.

Bare feet grounding my body,

I begin to see Its capability.

Spinning uncontrollably,

It has a Hold of me.

Affecting my whole reality,

Directing where it carries me.

Puzzle pieces swirling,

Holding me down.

I begin twirling,

Turning it around.

Reversing rotation,

Pieces fall to the Ground.

Changing the motion,

A commotion,

Kicks up dust from the past.

Coming

Vortex of hate

I fend with the wine
I hide with a laugh
I jeer at my time
Forlonging so as it pass
I stand with my defiance 
I fall with pride
I swim through my failures
I lay my faults by the side
I never cease to care
I don't want my love to end
I stare at a vortex of hate
And i lost to that

eye on the storm

The sky is a cloudless crystal blue
with a breeze to chap your lips
I’m grateful for it, it’s heaven-sent
the dawn was a celestially stamped, angry red
sailors take warning

It’s going to get feisty cold,
I’m told
about the time we go back to school.
A polar-bear vortex with all its features
will spread its icy paws

What jumps out at me first
is

Wind speeds

Gusting
Trees swayed by breeze
Leaves blew across the field
Dust lifted into a vortex
Whirlwind

Weep Vortex

Weep, vortex of a lineblurrer! 
Asleep you can view far beyond;
Keep your chaotic spiral close, 
sweep clean leave ideas en ronde;

Deny who you are at the core,
lie to those who need honesty;
Try if you must to stop spinning,
spry holds the keys to fantasy.

Vortex of Thought

Within the gyre of life self-centered,
Spins mental debris long since splintered.
This maelstrom of memories stretches and lengthens
Until a breaking point is reckoned.
Do bad dreams, and sins forgotten,
Lurk in minds long roiled and rotten?
And where is the relief from nocuous nightmares,
Vexing romances, and unanswered prayers? 
When does the circle of life bring closure,
And will it end

Monster Medicine

plasma barrier
force field
pressed against
yielding bubble
slipping through
where have I been

precious energy
spent with 
no return
foolishly
so many verses
wasted

treasure hunting
down helpless
vapid creatures
left inviolate
monster medicine
not

cold heart beating
icy breath swelling
preening scales
ticking claws
filing sharp
words
swishing long
slithery tail

pheromones 
of worthy prey
lurking invisibly
close
deep rattling sigh
reptilian razor
head
slashes fro
coordinates locked

Kodachrome melting
vision dissolving
not his 

homeless heart
matriculating 
from detachment
to isolation

deep dark hole
retreat and sleep
forget the day

expand horizons
smash boundaries
find fuel

Dark Vortex

Don't go to that dark place
It will grab hold of your soul
It is a dark abyss
That will devour you whole

These aching moments
These teardrops that you still
Fighting to escape from
The bitter taste of ashes from hell

2022 Polar Vortex - Across Wide Band Of North America

Power outage here within 
mine happy hunting grounds 
(as well the ghosts of Lenni Lenape),
viz Perkiomen Valley, Pennsylvania
December twenty third 
two thousand twenty two wrought
(lasting greater part of twelve hours)
impossible mission to keep warm

generating body heat
necessity courtesy three dog night,
sure as I'm sitting here
nevertheless found yours

Easter Storm On Mesquite Dunes

Rushing toward the desert monsoon
I sought to capture a rare midday storm.
We arrived to the valley of ever-changing dunes     
with quilted layers shifting in cadential form.   

Isolated and distant beneath purple majestic peaks    
whose grains of time find harsh deposit.  
Ocean winds once prevailing now

Lux

forty years late for death
uprisings toppled civilizations without hurting my eyes
at the apex of the vortex and inside this antechamber and shelter
the euclidean dome engine where i move the galaxy
I sweep the creation with the neural scanner
around here I became brutish and for each failure
I adapted the respective lie
I've been layering things for a long

Vortex

too bad die
never again at dawn
hear the restless land
the dogs barking scared
the wind raping the window
too bad not to see more
you dreaming in the warm bed
and across the bedroom floor
the empty chocolate packages
that have sweetened
our two bitter hearts.

For the love of your love 
I pray to God for 
your love
 discreetly ever so firm

 and completely shall I love
 you and just only you I choose
To Only Love you
And be in love with you
You and God in a present now and forever

I’ve turned the corner, finally gone around the bend 
  Was a long learning curve, brought me here to no end
  And now looking back I see, a spiral staircase descend 
 Followed blindly into a hell, where this poem was penned
