Introverted
I keep my thoughts locked away.
No one can touch them.
They are mine only. I take no
Risk in sharing with
Others my
Very personal feelings. I do not wish
Every one to know me and take no joy in
Revealing myself to
Those who
Expect to understand my personal
Demons and dilemmas.

in our secret world
lips to lips
our hearts in passion
pound
our needs
in whispers sound
pleasure's fever
in desire unchained
the crescendo choir
of words
fans the fire
love floats
on thermals
of
kissing
missing minutes
become
hours
in the longing
to give
to receive
to touch
cuddle
& caress
she
my
valentine

What could, what would I be?
Daily, do I choose an Ideal Me
And do my best God's smile to see?
Is He my Best Friend and Lord?
Does The King of the Universe make me bored
Exacting a price I can't afford?
Today, tonight, do I take His grace,
Pray and give to others in His place,
Receiving, believing with joy on my face?
My Creator God, Father and Jesus His Son
Has a plan for everyone,
Filled with shining purpose like the sun.
So be His very personal friend
Stick with Him to the End
And from the Spirit's will do not bend!

Traveling away from the city
to the countryside
Heading for Strickland Lake
Picnicing by the lake
enjoying a swim
Spending time with family
Grilling out hamburgers
hotdogs and sometimes chicken
Watching people go down
the water slides and
jumping off the high dive
or diving board
Walking along the board walk
As you sit at the picnic table
enjoying your grilled out food
Squirrels start gathering around
looking for food scraps to eat
Sometimes getting up close
and very personal
By mid to late afternoon
you hear rumbles of thunder
That’s your que that the
picnic is over
So you head home
with the best of memories

Prime Minister’s Question Time
That Wednesday morning farce
That starts with the sycophants
Verbally kissing the Premier’s ****,
Followed by the Opposition Leader
Who begs and implores
Answers to his questions
Which the Prime Minister ignores,.
To indulge in propaganda
And very personal attack
When the Opposition Leader
Vey quickly bites back.
Those present in the House
All bay, yell and scream like fools
In way that would bring exclusion
From most decent primary schools.
Democracy in action
There for all to see
The Parliamentary equivalent
Of the The Goon Show on TV
Prime Minister’s Question Time
A misnomer indeed
Behaviour more fitting those
High on skunk, roofies or weed.
A most unedifying spectacle
But thats just how it looks
When any nation is led by
Hypocrites, spivs and crooks.
The honourable resignation
A thing of the long long past
As those in power cling on
Until the very very last.
And loyalty is rewarded,
When the opportunity affords,
By the lifetime sinecure of
A seat in the House of Lords.
We treat politicians with deference
In a manner that confounds
Forgetting they work for us
And not the other way around.

This was a very personal poem for me.
For 3 years I've been dreaming,
Of different time periods Ancient Rome,
King Arthur, Leonardo Di Vinci,
1800 West and Pearl Harbor. The only,
Constant is Her, Cam.
Dreams, no I think they are past lives.
That's how I am going to identify them.
Knowing the past will always,
Bring us to the future.
True most of my poems are past lives,
Romance, betrayal, Mythology and lost love.
I have always labeled myself,
"The Hopeless Romantic"
I dream of this girl Cam she keeps,
My heart young, free and independent.
Is she real? Not in this lifetime, Not yet.
I do believe with all my heart that we,
Knew each in another life.
In my poems I bring out my heart,
And soul in everything I write.
I am very passionate, emotional,
And driven in my poems, as we all are.
I am not embarrassed to say I have ,
Feelings for Cam who resembles Toni,
Who died in my arms and is the,
The first poem I ever wrote. It is on here.
We all have a Cam and I would love,
To hear about yours.

They almost are sisterly or brotherly.
What's more their care for you extends beyond lovely.
These friends are not, flash in the pans.
They are there for you, whenever they can.
They write you very, very personal mail.
And share what's happening in their life's travails.
When you are not at PS, they are concerned.
Trust me, by them, you are never spurned.
They are the brightness of your days.
At night, on your pillow, you think of them in high praise.
Like butterflies, they help make your days beautiful,
With you, their words are florever truthful.
Stunning and sparkling, like stars in the shy.
You thank your God for them, and never ask why!

She is another man's property
Forbidden perhaps to pose for such an artist
A mirage of a slow smile on her face
Some see smirk somber sliver sly seduction
Sandy shadows personify her presence
Did you see in her encore eyes
Dreams deferred decorated delivered
In a decidedly departed deja vu?
Hidden in brave denial
The remainder of her doting smile
Traced enhanced romanced by his hands
Attentive artistry of bleak bronze hues
Captures light behind enchanting eyes
Maybe she carries a child
Painting in her womb by her lovers brush
Swelling hearts baptizing minds
As the only work of art she will treasure
For it is so very personal
Love lights Mona Lisa's darkest daze
Painted passion lives in an impression
A hint of a smile
Least the secret be told too loud.
*This poem is about the Mona Lisa painting.

Why you call me tonight by that sweet name?
That name is very personal to me.
You've broken relation; you made me free.
Can't forget pain you gave, don't want to blame.
That phase of suffering was mine, great shame.
Those days' memory brings tears; seen your glee.
What my heart wished, it couldn't get, let it be.
'Twas reality, I was bound to accept.
Don't call me; I've stopped, for long I did wept.
You remained selfish, didn't think for my fame
I will remain with my fate; I can't be
contented, memories won't make me free.
Showing love to me was only a game
for you, but believed it true; I'm not same
person. I'll not be bothered with your plea.
Realized illusions; life has taught me.
Can't forget, your insensate acts did threat
Enough is enough, don't want to regret.

Against guilt-chained condescension
Inflicted with iniquities’ oppression
My soul, hell-bound, thru sins’ aggression…
Was rescued by the Saviour with His compassion.
Granting me great redemption
Christ paid for my eternal salvation
Setting me free from awful damnation
Toward wondrous heaven’s destination.
Endowed now with life everlasting’s possession
Blessed to be guided by omniscient wisdom persuasion
I thank my God* for this marvelous privileged condition
To enjoy His sovereign, special, and very personal intervention.
*Matthew 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

I pray to HIM, the destroyer
Destroying is his purpose singular
He reveals the duplicity of a sleeper
Not in him, the forceful energy of a waker
Yes, I prayed deeply to the destroyer
After I saw the works of the creator
The creator is everywhere and is all-knower
A life-giver but could not make ME a winner.
Destroyer loved but was not a lover
Barely a parent yet a strict father
He bore his stick, He alone could bear life as a householder
The world is a multi-faceted creation
Plurality, infinity, continuity and no end
Nature turned wild and prone to destruction
We created zero and the nuclear weapon
Creation was contained in finite numbers
When numbers don't work go to the network
Family, society, nature all inter-locked
That's when my very personal God set to work
He said to me then
Clear the cobwebs and your cupboard
Turn off the fire in the sanctum sanctorum
Leave me not and look no further
Don't try to put the broken pieces of your life together
Come to my distant sanctuary
Its cold openness beyond the reach of the creator!

All mourn in different ways
No one should ever tell you how to feel
Overwhelming pain
From the onset of the news
Or complete numbness
To your very core
No one should ever tell you how to react
Some hide away
Refusing to accept it
While others share memories
Of days gone by
Loss is a very personal thing

When I Shall Someday Lay Under Frost On The Ground
In with dead and dying leaves I pass my time
Drink my strong coffee, write my truth, in rhyme,
Without fear, and seeking no favor I dare tell
That once covered within my hardened shell;
Alas! My heart cries for much I would undo
Lying to my sweet lover a dozen times two,
Youthful drunken rages, bold ladies of the night;
And such eager anticipation in brawling fights.
Sometimes I wonder if, on all this I should dwell
Bring back feelings of that dark and ancient hell
Yet my mind and muse both gaily conspire
Cry out, write this now, regardless of soul's ire.
When I shall someday lay under frost on the ground.
Pray these words serve others and some find profound.

Sonnet - SUBJECT- ( Daring to Tell)
Note - This sonnet was first written in my private journal back in 1983.
I decided to edit it (heavily)and present it here today.
I took out some very personal references of others I knew and had dealings with--shortened the original long poem down into a sonnet.
