Like ocean waves, your breathing
settles my troubled soul.
Laying in bed next to you, you
become my pillow. I listen to
your beating heart and feel
safe and protected.
Like a prayer I meditate on us.
Inside I explode with emotion.
Knowing you are by my side,
I cherish every moment.

You give me comfort when
my world becomes chaotic.
Reflecting on our relationship,
helps me deal with life.
My heart embraces you even
when we are not together.
You make me strong when I feel
weak. Because of you, I feel
the luckiest person in the
entire world.

Premium Member An Updated Valentine

I guess I have given you
a drawer full of hearts over
the years. As well as a
bucket of tears. Love
seldom runs easy.

I guess I have settled you
in many secure ways,
while also leaving your heart
quite queasy. Love is
not always dove-y please-y.

Yet, know this! Between
shouts and kisses, between
pouts and blisses, there has
never been another. You are
my only Valentine, in this
world, and doubtful anyone else
would long put up with either
of us, while here or even in some
elevated other.

Updated Valentine

Well, 6 months quickly pass;
since my level headed choice --
the apartment has been tidy
and the dog now uses the grass --
If not for that spilled olive oil
that put me in a cast, your company
has been superb, though our food
is best all Fast. With or without fries my
dear?

A Valentine For Nancy

by Wayne Wysocki

If you were my Valentine,
My world would be so sweet,

And if I kissed your lips divine,
My heart would skip a beat,

So tell me, dearest darling, do
That I'm the only one for you,

For if your heart were truly mine,
My world would be complete.

    Oh, My valentine !
    You're only Moon to glisten
    in chore of my heart.
I cannot let you apart !
Come close : Take red rose : Be mine !

Show Your Passion For Valentine

Change what feels sad,
heal the wound that bled;
show your passion for Valentine:
shout it with endless pride,
declare the sweet promise;
be be all mine, regardless
of risk and price.

Roses come in many colors,
I choose the ones I desire,
the ones that are
as red as these lips..
seeking your kisses,
so ready to set me on fire.

A true Valentine defends love
with all his mind and heart;
nobody stands in his way,
he won't hesitate to pray,
protecting what
seems fair and right:
never esembling
a dry, useless clove.

Believe me, whoever stands
for love is blessed by God
in some unexpected ways,
he has felt the painful rod
he bever lies, he never cheats:
his battles are won withouth fears.

Show your passion for Valentine,
make me feel the bliss,
nothing can be taken for granted;
every minute shouldn't be wasted.

Valentine Mouth

Dear February they say you are all about love but
you make my head swim , letting my own words make a martyr of me
Im terrified of how they sound rolling off my tounge , so I decide not to speak
I dont know how to be loud enough to be loved
I gave you flowers and you return my gifts with madness
while the devil makes a fool of me hiding under my blankets , painting my face red with shame
He knows I'll never make peace with my own desires , but I'll pretend to be brave anyway
I should prefer the truth to emptiness
I dont know how to explain this to you
 the reflection that feels nothing
I turn off the light and close the door

Premium Member O' My Valentine

His whispered words, my heart ripped apart
O’ my ode to my valentine, none but a farce

I nothing but a temptress, he my true storm
No normality here, both of us, not the norm

Two celestial bodies; afflicted on each other
Scores beyond reason, O’ my valentine lover

His ardent storms, carried across the oceans
She heeds not his command, nor his notions

His lies won’t beguile her, she will not listen
He wants her freedom onto her to imprison

Whatever his wants, the Gods will not allow
Acknowledging his deceits they will not bow

So for my valentine today I’m giving it a miss
I need not your poisonous and so deadly kiss

My valentine

Valentine Hearts

The old silphium plant,
Found in ancient Cyrene,
Had some qualities Google
Brought up on my screen.

Seems its seed pod was used
To increase certain pleasures
And was thereby considered
Among Nature’s treasures.

Now this seed pod was shaped
Like a Valentine heart
And that may be how
Valentine’s Day got its start.

Or perhaps that’s a tale
Or an out-and-out lie,
Manufactured and shown
By some sneaky A.I.

But no matter the origin,
Hope your heart’s full,
Regardless of if
You believe in this bull.

VALENTINE

Valentine I love you so, like the sun loves the earth as it warms us each new day.
Valentine I love you, with all your faults, you make me laugh and feel special with your smile and caring ways.
Valentine is a special day, it gives us time to think and love and show how much we care.
Valentine I will fill this day with happy memories that I will remember all of my years.
Lifting prayers to God, today and always.

For 50 plus years, I have walked up and down hills.
Sometimes, I had to swallow bitter pills.
Some years were filled with tears.

A few were cloudy and covered with fears,
But you stood with me through the years.
Some years were beset with a struggling career,
Forcing bills to be paid in arrears.

Life is not always as it appears.
Sometimes, we were compelled to change gears,
Learning to ignore some things that one hears.

You would say, "Look forward, not in the rear".
You always spoke courage and hope to my ears.
You have always been faithful and most dear.

For 50 plus years, you have been my valentine,
Always helping me to stand tall and shine,
Enabling me time after time to walk the line

A Valentine of love and friendship

Roses being sent your way
With hugs on this valentines day
Lots of love and happiness
For a special day like this
I just want you all to see
How wonderful true love can be
Or friendship that will last for years
Through the laughter and the tears

MY VALENTINE

My Valentine, My love, my heart, my only one, as morning breaks, and the sun yawns, my heart opens with you in mind.
Thank you God for guiding us near, making our moments feel like we are one and near.
Your kisses on my lips, make me feel like the silk wrapped around us as we sleep.
As you touch my skin, I feel the warmth of your love, like the fires within.
Like the love we share, each touch is like the sweet air we breathe.
Like the flower opening for the sun, my body opens for my love to be one.
Lifting prayers to God, today and always.

Premium Member Happy Valentines day

Bouquet of flowers with bright red roses,
dinner and wine, as evening approaches,
beginning of love, is dawn of new life,
when two hearts dearly wish, god disposes.

Fervent dreams walk the edge of a sharp knife,
their racing pulse, have some reason for strife,
blushing faces hold hands in deep romance,
pray one day the two be husband and wife.

Dim lit ambience, whispers, furtive glance,
perfumes and music do their love enhance,
words are said yet no one knows what to say,
desires in bodies reverberate a dance.

This day is the first of many such days,
when new love finds fresh love to pave new ways,
some end in Yes, some may start with a nay,
Rest assured, true love will go all the way!

Premium Member A rashly written valentine verse

There is this nun, with a shady pimple
She hides behind a reinforced wimple
When the Sister has none
Brother Val, gives her one
Not spotless, though relatively simple

Premium Member My First Valentine

Once upon a distant time,
When she was eight and I was nine,
We sat close together in third grade
And exchanged the paper hearts we'd made
That said, in childish scrawl, "Please be my valentine."

Often when I feel old and gray,
I can still recall that special day.
Thought faded now with time and tears,
Her heart rests 'mongst my souvenirs,
A sweet reminder of when I first gave my heart away.
