HUMANITY

HUMANITY

Action and reaction, equal and opposite
We hear, but just what do we make of it
Do we let loose and curse or merely spit
When arrows rain, how shall we respond
It does take pressure to make a diamond
And unavoidably, we will all get physical

One can argue that it’s all about balance
With nods and smiles as merely a valance
As even we might then utilise our talents
To react with equal force, maybe in kind
With daggers of steel, or just of the mind
When angry, it’s no time to be whimsical

Humanity and animal instincts kept apart
And was meant to be from the very start
Yet both have physics at their very heart
The very first instinct is always to survive
And perhaps with luck and skill, to thrive
Yet the desire for good over evil is critical

CARPE DIEM

Seize the day - for it is yours
To make the most and live.
Open your mind and its doors...
You get what you give.
Regardless of your situation
And its circumstances...
Unemployed or occupation?
Both possess their chances.

From the moment you awaken
And arise from sleep,
The day is there to be taken...
For you to sow and reap.
As if a garden bed - each seed
A choice or a decision...
Planted with their need to feed
Under your supervision.

Whether bright and full of sunshine
Or weather wet with rain...
Hot or cold? Either is fine
To keep free from refrain.
Seconds, minutes, every hour...
Time for you to use
And utilise in your devour
However you choose.

If you feel you cannot seize
The day, then take this hint...
Your next is sure to come of ease
Pre-planned in blueprint.
Map your times of day in sections...
Allocate each one
With its own set of directions...
Checking off when done.

From its sunrise to sunset,
Seize the day with capture...
Even if it is to yet
Imply a sense of rapture.
Time of which you cannot borrow...
Life is short and we
Are all not promised tomorrow...
There is no guarantee.

                         ‘ Seize the day ‘ ! It’s carpe diem
Every day in life is a game.
Life to enjoy and to explore :
                             Any moment not to ignore.

Each day appears as a gift.
                             Utilise, being perfect fit.
                             Be dynamic, no stagnancy.
                             Be joyful, no despondency.

                             Proceed always to progress.
At any cost, not to regress.
Ups and downs in life : more or less,
yet consider each day to bless.

Accept each day as a challenge.
It’s up to you, how to arrange !
                            Never sit indolent, at all.
                            Respond to every moment’s call.

The Colour: Green

When I was born, they gave me life
When I was lost, they inspired me to thrive
The shades of green that were around me alike
Interacted with me more than anyone could even try

The greenery that surrounds us symbolic of tranquility,
Calms your mind and gives you the pleasure of great quality
Greater than what we encounter in our grey shaded lives,
full of creatures hostile and unpredictable at times.

In a cruel world where we live,
let's cherish what we have around
Because no matter WE are good friends or not
They unhesitantly serve for us a lot...

So Utilise your backyard by growing lovely plants,
Watch them often and create a soft corner in your heart,
An air of pleasure will surely surround you in a while
And then they'll never let you go without a pretty smile...

I'M Sorry

Apologising all the time is often an after-effect of trauma; a self-preservation technique survivors may think they still need to utilise in order to protect themselves.

Everyone is healing from something. Let's try to be kind to one another.

Blessings.

I'm sorry
By Michelle Morris
11/12/2022

"I'm sorry" is something people often say
Whether they are really sorry or not
But once in a while you'll meet someone
Who says "I'm sorry" an awful lot

You might think them stupid
You might think them lame
You might think they're silly
Or that they're playing some game

But, if you do some research
Or if you choose to care
You might realise they've been abused
Deeply and irrevocably for years

Their childhood trauma lingers
Their abuse from too many years
Their spouse played on their feelings
And gaslit them with emotional fears

They are genuinely sorry
They really don't mean to keep saying it
They're so used to placating abusers
That it becomes second nature

So, if you meet a sweet person
Who says "I'm sorry" all the time
Please try to be patient and gentle
Consider compassion and being nice

Premium MemberThe Two Typical Windows

A house got windows for aeration
As well as for time travel
The front window a time tunnel for the future
The back window a time tunnel for the past
50 years ahead and 50 years back
The front window gives you a view of
Bright, clean and broad roads
A fragrant smell of flowers and a thick shade of trees
A beautify world of afforestation and greenery
A world full of expectations and dreams
Higher education
Law and order
Business transactions
Scientific inventions
Digital applications
The front window is always opened
Unless not at home
It's closer to the open sky
And warm sunlight from heaven
The back window gives you a view of the past
Dark, narrow and dirty lanes
A bad smell of rubbish
Attracting flies, ants, wild dogs, wild cats and rats
Prostitutes,thiefs, briberies and scandals
Conspiracy and backdoor government
The back window is always closed from
A deadly smell from hell
But don't forget
You also got two windows in your heart
One full of conscience
And the other full of evil
It's an assignment from God
Oh dear, do utilise the right one
Before it's too late

We live by the sea, just we two, you and me
It offers us all that we need
From our heads to our toes, you make all of our clothes
From sea grass and sometimes sea weed

If our ocean provides it, you will utilise it
I so like the way that you think
Our clothes made from stuff that you found on the beach
But your feet, well they surely do stink

Those earrings you made from a couple of cockles
That pendant you made from a shell
Your bikini top is a strap and two scallops
But your feet, they surely do smell

I keep us well fed from the sea and sea bed
While you keep us suited and booted
You’re my Wonder Woman it has to be said
But your feet, well they really are putrid

We sit on the shore and we like nothing more
Than watching the waders and dippers
But we can’t stay long, there’s a God-awful pong
For your slippers are made out of kippers

[For the uninitiated, kippers are butterflied, smoked herring.]

Consciousness

To utilise the space between
To go beyond a secret dream
When wondering a hidden track
We awaken when we’re back.

Umbrellas

Useful on rainy days
  Underneath ashen skies
       Unleashed springs awaken;
             Upthrust in defiance.
                  Unobserved by others
                          Undercover kisses
                                 Utilise their shelter.

Bring Love and Peace

Bringing love and peace
Yes bringing to the table,
All that’s good for understood-
you're hot to trot and able…

To gather all that’s right
use it for what’s just,
Then share to make all healthy
when meeting you just must…

For you are kind and all so fine
skilfully real neat,
Assigning you great work to do
to strengthen all the meek.

Prosperity your destiny
potential from the birth,
Live this opportunity
to better all your worth.

With peace and love from up above
you're worthy and you're wise,
To speak what’s true connecting through
for others utilise...

Positivity, Enlightenment
encouragement, support,
Advancement is enhancement
via optimistic thought.

Actions are essential
though powerful the voice,
Teach to those so others know
our will is given choice….

To bring love and peace to increase
greater higher virtue,
For future great to serve ones plate
when presently we nurture.

Time

Life goes on ;
Time never stops ,
People come and go ;
Work never ceases.
We're dwelling in the world of miseries ,
No one has time to sit and chat ,
Everyone has ups and downs ,
Until the right time we suffer .
Time travels fast ,
Don't brag about it ;
Witty brains who value it ,
Have glory and fame at their feet.
But the one who sits ideal ,
Like a statue cut in alabaster,
Although his blood is warm within , he does nothing,
And will sure cross paths with failure ,
So inspite of bragging about it ,
Abd harming our future ,
Why not utilise it ,
And have success within our grasp.
