This is how to overthrow tyranny:
elections by a free people who care
peaceful transfer of power
alternative media outlets to counter brainwashing
decreasing the size of government
ridding a society of mandates by unelected officials
stopping demonization of average citizens
halting massive monetary corruption
short of divine intervention 
this is how it is done

it is difficult~ many obstacles to freedom exist
that will try to maintain power:
a biased dishonest media
a bloated bureaucracy
an oligarchy of the defeated who want to retain power
unconstitutional judicial power
Nazi style thugs who like to commit violence

it is a tough row to hoe
no guarantees that it will work but 
if enough people care it might work

Loving Day

When Richard and Mildred fell in love,
their fate was decided by a judge.
For he was white and she was black,
their marriage broke Virginia's Integrity Act.

Forced to move to Washington DC,
they opposed the ruling in 1963.

In 1967, a supreme court ruled that Richard and Mildred Loving could live together,
as an interracial married couple in their own state of Virginia,
and declared that the law prohibiting this was unconstitutional.

June 12 is National 'Loving Day', when many Americans continue to celebrate the freedom to marry a person of another race.
Festivals, barbecues, parties are held, 
to show that love knows no bound.

Another Time

I promise you, I am from the broken time!

Where I watched the world burn through trees of pine. 

You don’t believe this mess?

Well, there’s not much I can do, but confess. 

So, you think these chains will prevent me from traveling?

As the magic starts unraveling. 

You say I’m delusional. 

But what you are doing to me is unconstitutional. 

I promise that I will disappear. 

And go back to my time where I will reappear. 

And I will go back to harmony. 

Where you will not be able to harm me.

The Bloody Coup

We know that it was an inside job, that President Trump incited the mob. Why was home land security sent away to a place of obscurity? Where was the FBI who warned that some thing was going to fly? If heads must roll and some be gone, we must include the Pentagon. They deserted our Capitol police, so out numbered, now several deceased. Those elected officials who played their roles and watched while mayhem did unfold. They all better get their do for inciting this bloody unconstitutional coup.

   "Wutcha gonna do?  Put us behind barbed-wire fences?"

      Wow.  I 've heard enough, haven't you?
         Yup.  Let's give 'em another thousand years or two...

Capitol Hill Capers

Beautiful, yet so utterly vile!
Congress shut down, hiding, plotting.
The destruction of this country and its President.
Under the glitzy costume of a Virus you came.
Unabashedly shredding the Bill of Rights.
Joyfully, slamming churches and synagogues tight.

You vampires on the Hill~
Destroying the Republic, the lives of its people.
To the great god, Socialism, you plan a building
with a shining gold steeple.
We cannot shake someone's hand?
Yet you unabashedly, tax us cruelly to beat the band!

be.

No Chorus

To many my words were gloomy
But it was absolutely groovy
As I continued to speak truly
Whether or not it was seen as spooky

They said I needed a chorus
And help from the thesaurus
Or else it would effect my performance

But I wanted to paint my own portraits
With a style that was different from anyone before this
Considering how life is gorgeous
While traveling through enormous gorges
On the outskirts of the forests

As a young grasshopper
I poured out some beer from a can of lager
For my grandfather
Even though others continued causing manslaughter
Despite all the possibilities that this land offers
There are still places with bad water
And far too many damn squatters

It's fairly suitable 
To maintain relationships that are mutual
While pursuing energy sources that are renewable

Don't you dare be delusional
And speak to me about what is unconstitutional
Because that is inexcusable

Especially if you want to talk about the crucible
As if it is provable
I just look at you like you're unusual
But pay very little attention because this place is far too beautiful

Sad Documentarium

Sorry dad,
hate that I gotta turn you in
You don’t have the legal documentation 
to stay here like I do
Sorry mom,
sad that I gotta report you too
You’ve been hiding in the shadows for years,
it’s time for the spotlight to shine on you

Unlawful immigrants are subject to citizen arrest,
then taken to the proper authorities
			                   and given a loyalty test
You say this is unconstitutional
Maybe ... probably ... even likely
But the government has got a return package 
that needs to be sent   ...    so don’t get liberal bent
I know you’re wondering, mother ... 
how could your own child do this to you
But you know, and father does also,
that I’m a faithful patriot who took the childhood pledge
	      I’m an American citizen first and foremost
It was you two who taught me about sacrifice:
said you don’t always get to have butter on your toast
It’s a sad day,
seeing you both get deported
Go back home and get the legal documents you need,
I’ll be waiting
In the meantime, I’ll pray and grieve
As of right now, I’m very sorry — 
	            but you both gotta leave
