Oak no longer wears verdant cape
Which clings to each branch rotund shape
Upon each branch in shapely pairs
Verdant cape oak no longer wears

A tinge of frost, lands and touches
'Pon summer's nests, but gone the clutches
Who hatched and left before they're lost
Lands and touches a tinge of frost

Russet colors adorn those leaves
Large in number, but naught achieves
Winds blow them away they're airborne
Those leaves russet color adorns

Bare limbs exposed, skeletal oak
Chilled by northerly wind uncloak
Hope in spring? I truly supposed
Skeletal oak, bare limbs exposed

First time doing one of these. Not so easy.

I used rhyme zone. Syllable counter.net. On some I could not figure out how to have only 8 syllables. Going to check with Grammer checker also.

Like Rock Paper Sissors

Like rock paper scissors
When the sun comes out to warm applause
And illuminates the sky
Its’ radiance covers the world

But when clouds cover all
The air shivers
And shudders until it howls
A hearty wind to blow the clouds away

The ocean covers the land
And loves to give its’ water to the sky
When the rain falls to earth
We all dance for the greening growth

Lay a blanket upon the ground
Then kiss snowflakes tickling our tongues
Amid swirling covering flurries
Seeking to uncloak the key to start the thaw

That covers the winter milieu
We shout for the warm summer sun to arrive
And cover the waiting world
Once again

Life Or Death

Light pushes up against my guarded window
attempting to uncloak what lies untouched
warm amongst the darkness, the silence, the unknown
life of the living, the giving, but still alone

Where are you as my insides burn?
When I am here pushing but for what?

Death calls with a chance of revival
A saving grace from a failed suvival
No more replays of the same mistake
Searching for something I cannot shake

Take me now,
for life has spit me out

Take me now,
death come hear my shout

Whisper to me winsome
      wind of night...
Romance me with your
      guile of pale moonlight.
Let me hear the
      ocean's melody
Singing softly to
      set my spirit free.
Night blooming Jasmine
      scent the humid air...
Serenely, I'll enjoy night
      without a care.
Oh night with stars aglow,
      this feeling you instill,
Such ambience to free
      my heart, my will...
To uncloak the stringent
      shadows of the day...
I surrender; let any sad
      emotions steal away.

A Walk With the Birds

Slowly spring sun caresses the land
As kowhais will softly provoke
Flushes of yellow to gently expand
Their buds of the season uncloak
Helping bellbirds escape from winter’s last choke.

Methodical beats of wood pigeon wings
Whoosh thru the quiet spring air.
Melodious trills as tuis’s sweetly sing
Fantails flitter, with hardly a care
While bush robins cheekily dare.

Fragrance of earth sweetens the breeze
New lambs adventure and race
Dragonflies linger, then floating past trees
Whio dart up the river with grace
My core just idolizes this place.

I climb up the mountain out of the trees
A kea, the comedian of the highland flies past
Does a sharp turn, lands on a boulder to tease
It’s green, blue and red feathers contrast
Their intelligence and pranks unsurpassed.

Day turns to evening; a morepork issues its call
A mournful sound that echoes the night
I descend in the darkness at the pace of a crawl
Then the hoarse cry of a kiwi just out of my sight
I'm relaxed. One day with the birds and I’m no longer uptight.

Breathe My Name

Breathe my name with the breeze that rustles
Through the leaves and part your velvet-touched
Lips, that they may take my own rough ones
To a place as near bliss insomuch

That I can smell the melting morning dew
On your frosted hazel eyes through
Your lips. Let me uncloak you with
Trembling hands, and bid adieu

To whatever sadness resided in our hearts,
Through your bosom and its plaintive song,
So supple and melodious, falling
Only on ears to which it belongs.

I've lost myself in you beyond recovery;
Call on me and you will find me true,
If God wills, as the answer to
This most exquisite question - you.

Meadow

Beautiful meadow emotions of awe can provoke
In the air there is delightful smell of hickory smoke
So enchanting are flowers it’s as its soul spring would uncloak
In the center of the meadow stands ancient oak

Through the boughs of the oak murmurs spring wind
On the oak sitting bird seems to have grinned
Ballad he sings is too angelic for the kind of music style to be pinned
But it is by no means undisciplined

The magnified cells of the oak are essence of life
They are here and everywhere else cause of all life
Around the meadow there are all kinds of wildlife
That is awaking from the winter strife

The planetary alignment in the sky unveils distant bliss
The theory formed by that alignment will give cell nirvana a kiss
The oak spreads its boughs creating new life by knowledge hidden in this kiss
That will answer from higher beings’ point of view this;

What ballad does bird reminisce
What divine secret of the meadow is?
And what most fundamental meaning of existence of life is
Fundamental not from point of view of continuity but abyss

begging for a glimpse
of other than your bold eyes
the hidden heat of your smile
fortune will uncloak
what simple words can not achieve
for one fairer than the sky

uncovered tresses
dance upon the blushing air
kiss my face my cheek, my eyes
drape less bosoms rise
with fragrant breath and whimpers
the gift given lovers lie

Unaware

Vouch uncloak tomes.
Tooth topcoat retro.
Parry purport perks sourf.

Shaded

Center stage star
yet hooded afar
uncloak your smile
Let it unjar

open the blinds
black and then red
take down old mantras
make new ones instead

ignite your old spirit
that used to sing
Unlock your heart
thats been surfacing

trying to swim back
to the top
from where its been hiding
alone in the dark.

your soul is not a secret
with me
know that i care
unconditionally

rise above the mental
hardship
the heart that i know
resides on my lips.

Secrets of the Dark

Sky changes to beauty,
Owls hunt for pray,
Bats attack,
Humans uncloak,
Pets twirl,
Truth occurs.
