Life Or Death

Light pushes up against my guarded window
attempting to uncloak what lies untouched
warm amongst the darkness, the silence, the unknown
life of the living, the giving, but still alone

Where are you as my insides burn?
When I am here pushing but for what?

Death calls with a chance of revival
A saving grace from a failed suvival
No more replays of the same mistake
Searching for something I cannot shake

Take me now,
for life has spit me out

Take me now,
death come hear my shout

I like how you did this, though the subject is dark and desolate, the poem itself is brilliant and completely understandable.

You are starting to sound like me, thats scarey enough! The only good news for you is the line up for even death is long, and they haven't called my number yet, so you have to live on a bit!

This is very very moving Tim and I don't know what to say so I will just release the lyric for 'Songs from a Secret Garden', and I hope that it brings some solace to your heart. Amitiés

From this horrible distance I wrap my arms around you. I hear you, I'll always be near no matter the miles between us.

It's not the time for death, Tim. You say so in these lines, "Death calls with a chance of revival. A saving grace from a failed survival" You have too many poems yet to write, my friend. ;-)
