Our Two Hearts

The spark of distant stars jump-starts
     the rhythmic beating of our two hearts.

JUST RIGHT, In Two Parts

College Before Family, 1982
My pen just writes
My dog just bites
My wife just fights
And I just might
Decide everything’s alright.

Life didn’t quite yield that plight
Because the pen barely writes
The pups play fight
The kids had height
Were polite
And actually bright
The wife’s a delight
Most days and nights
My life might be trite,
And I’m good with this slight rewrite.

Two circular villas

Two circular villas perched on the bony roots
No coat, no paint, only the scent of the bare skin
Restive camera instinctively released its telelens.

The Lonely Angel : Part Two

Scatters through strangers' scraps,
spoilt teens point and laugh,
she'll feast on left over snacks,
fills her belly & crashes on grass.

Her warmth at night, snugly blanket,
given thoughtfully by homeless stranger,
She's used to buses causing rackets,
sleeps in secret places, avoid the dangers.

She's like a needle in a fast society,
 a sweetheart buried in debris
How does a mother abandon

Two Shall Become One

Your soul has shown me through your heart,
A loving, caring and kind part.
And from your mind it says to me,
Intellect and wisdom reside in thee.

And to your soul I do relate,
Experiencing oneness with my soulmate.
For no other presence has more blessed my life,
As having you as my eternal wife.

Celestial Two

Through space and time,
Galaxies far and wide,
You’re the brightest star,
My galactic, cosmic guide.

The moon and sun,
So far up above,
Brought us both together,
Each other’s one true love.

A vast celestial view,
Gazing here as two,
My universe first began,
And will always end with you
