REMAINS AND DECREES

I crossed the archives as one walks through a field of ruins.
Decrees were bones, dogmas were nails.
Kings signed treaties in ink darker than darkness, a pact forged in daggers.
Papal bulls oozed blood beneath God's varnish.
Codes etched the systematic animalization into stone.
They legislated hell, administered suffering, theorized the slaughterhouse.
Even science became an executioner,
draping contempt in formulas and measured skulls.
I didn’t read history,
I breathed it,
its ashes glued to my lungs,
its screams wedged in the margins.
They crucified continents for their gems,
their plantations, their ores, and their silences.
They told me: progress.
But I saw boots pressed to throats.
They told me: forget.
But the graves still speak.
They told me: democracy.
I saw tanks circling the ballot boxes.
And you, West, with your carnivorous grin,
you demand forgiveness without returning the bones.
You scream values with your pockets full of plunder.
You dress up your hunger as mission.
You baptize your rape as liberation.
You persist, you insist, you gorge yourself.
But our memories are neither dead nor tame.
They sharpen.

Psychic energy that is misspent on an idea,
perhaps an object, and often on a person,
is referred to as a cathexis, an action
to satisfy an urge or need that can worsen.

In his explored psychoanalytical theory
of personality disorders, Sigmund Freud
theorized about this rather unhealthy drive
in which a life can be hindered or destroyed.

He believed that psychic energy is found
within the id, the ego, and the superego
The id directs a person's most basic needs,
deviating reality, but just how far will it go?

To satisfy the fanatic compulsion it craves
it can throw someone's energy into disarray,
This personality disorder is totally cognitive,
borderline psychotic, leading the mind astray.

Ego cathexis is a median nature of narcissism
causing a break down of stored up emotions.
Anger may occur, irrational to say the least,
often filling the brain with devious notions.

Our world has been stuck
in cloudy mind mist.
Einstein mused that
time does not exist.
For made up concepts
it's top of the list.
Fooled by its tick
we all get the gist.
All those lost seconds
now will be missed.
Though good ones and bad
memories persist.
Still millions will watch
each day on their wrist.
Ego won't let go
it's life's epic twist.

Einstein theorized that matter and time were
misconstrued concepts of humans.

That Living Does

"You can be a bookmark of a book, never to be reread," I said.
"Why is that?" You asked me.
"If you want to be meaningful, there should be a balance. "
Teachers teach,
They don't trick.
Or do they?
"Let it go."
I did. One by one.
Nothing stays there forever.
A moment's profit turns slowly to the death of a soul,
Somewhere.
Life is a sex toy of a child
A theorized hypothetical blister.
Perspective capturing the head.
"Let it go."
I did. One by one.
Nothing stays there forever.
I was waiting...waiting...
And waiting...for the slightest indication of inflection.
Do I supplicate? for me? For you?
Before the verdict appears again, in the form of compromise?
That living does.

Through the Eye of God

Through the Eye of God
The universe has exposed
It's complexities upon complexities
Inflexibly infinite
Natural laws
Copernicus theorized it
Newton wrote it's laws of motion
Einstein proved it
We live it
Look through the Eye of God
And you may see
You in your future

Dreamscape

Your dreams are so goddamn vivid.

You've been to the farthest corners of the forever expanding space,

And you've been parts to the Earth not even yet theorized of.

You've saved lives and you've ended them.

And you've been alien and fauna.

Your dreams are so goddamn real.

You've become the lucidity of the ocean.

And you've seen storms like none other.

You've invented so much beyond any geniuses dreams.

And I swear you've birthed so many beautiful beings.

Your dreams are so goddamn possible.

You've taken the world in your fingertips.

And you've learned how to pull the strings of fate.

You've taken the wheel for yourself and steered in your own direction.

And you've become the very essence of creation.

My Mother's Twin

Passionate symbols symbolized
Theories theoretically theorized
The semblance of your semantics synchronized
What you mean to me I wish it could be
Televised worldwide, vividly seen through
The world’s eyes, Kalani Sheffield, you’re the
Passionate symbol, my soul has symbolized.

Theoretical Ambition

Max Planck and Neils Bohr,
theorized deep dark matter's gore
quantum thinking of universal matters
visioned truth amidst all the jabber
more clearly seen, cosmos' creation
is more than just an aberration
so, when I grow up, I wanna be,
at the center of my entropy

Upon pulchritude I gandered
Alchemy materialized
Adamant sentiments mere panders
Upon pulchritude I gandered
Fervor ascended, language stammered
Imagery never once had I theorized
Upon pulchritude I gandered
Alchemy materialized

Theorized Heartless

Take your standbys
And your surprise
And analyze
My starting rise
This is advised
To get baptized
And Christianize
You idolize
Evils lullabies
Now memorize
These words replies
Say your good-buys
Leave all your spies
You agonizes
And minimize
Romanticize
Evils veils of lies

Never End

I just wish this would never end
Because even in my dreams you exist
And you truly are my bestfriend
Its your touch that i cant resist

And missing you is the hardest part
Being away from eachother hurts
When i dont see you it breaks my heart
But the thought of you alone comforts

And seeing you leaves me paralyzed
My heart beats so fast its on fire
This means im in love i have theorized
To be with you is my only desire

And im trying to savor our embraces
Savor that look you always give me
Everyone can tell by the look on our faces
That look that says that im finally free

I just wish that i could rewind or fast forward
Most of my happy times have been spent with you
I think it can all be summed up in one word
And that everlasting word is love nothing but true

The Sound of Meaning

The sound of Meaning
Wailing emotions
Whimpers with grief
At Logic’s intentions

The sound of Purpose
Whistling to dance
Spits in the face
Of theorized Chance

The sound of Judgment
Thunders with treason
Struggles to balance
Logic and Reason

The sound of Fate
Laughs and cries
Gets to decide
Truth from Lies

The sound of Liberty
Throats are sore
Strongly resembles
The sound of War

The sound of War
Snickers at Judgment
For human Logic
Serves punishment

The sound of Logic
Deafening with hate
Easily dispatches of
Purpose and Fate

The sound of Meaning
Wailing emotions
Whimpers with grief
At Logic’s intentions
