Premium MemberUnwilling

unwilling to toss
purple petals

though naturally
they drop

i don’t want to say goodbye
they’ve held me captivated
for a fortnight

from buds with sanguine leaves
proud with praise
to blossoming royal roses

though watered
autumn comes
like it does
for all terrestrials

winter tucks it into freeze frame
in the inner recesses of the mind
meaningful, yet
it dwarfs alongside the next periphery

i glance outside
to see the golden apogee
of late October

branches and boughs
still holding water

meaningful, yet…

Premium MemberMars Flight Vindicated

I stand by my assertion Mars has next-to-zero AIR
That justifies my skeptical view AIRcraft can't fly there
But in my poem composing, I did leave myself an 'out'
I can't have people thinking I'm a foolish clueless lout!

We knew already JPL and NASA pull such tricks
as to convince Terrestrials they're Total Clever Dicks
Inventive and resourceful and most ingenious
They made an 'Ingenuity' whose flights were seen by us!

My admiration for their work is second to no one.
I learn from them, my mind expands, with elements of fun...
Our Solar System's large enough to hold much mystery
So can those T.C.D.s progress in solving them? Let's see!

Premium MemberQuintessential Quest Abc Poem

Amiable alien
Beyond banishment
Calmly confides
During disaster
Every entity
Forever free
Generates gigantic
Heartfelt happiness
Imaginatively interlocking
Joyfully judiciously
Kinetic Kindnesses
Lightworkers lullaby
Mystical Metaphoric
Nuances nurturing
Orchestrated optimism
Promoting planetary
Quintessential quests
Respecting relationships
Silent Stargazers
Tending Terrestrials
United universally
Vindicating Venus
Wistfully Willing
‘Xtraordinarily ‘xtemporaneously
Zesty zenith.

Fame Everlasting

“Two eminent scientists say the human race is likely to become extinct at its own hand within 100 years as it exhausts resources through a population explosion and unbridled consumption.”
www.earthweek.com and The Plain Dealer, June 26, 2010

Just as the beasts that have gone before us –
Like the dodo and Tyrannosaurus –
We *****sapiens, some people think,
In a few decades, we’ll all be extinct.

Two scientists say that it now appears
In ninety-five maybe one hundred years,
The extra-terrestrials will commence
Referring to humans in the past tense.

So, I’m thinking if I get hopping
And find someone to print this jotting,
My fame of fifteen minutes from this rhyme,
Will come at quarter till the end of time.

They Asked Me Who Did It - I Counted On My Right Hand and Blamed Them All

naked and red and relentless rotten macabre mongrels murder my mother’s marriage. cats on cablecast killing civilization with their cryptic chartreuse eyes. sharks stealing shillings by swimming short of their assigned section and summoning their felicitous assassination. trees taking territory from terrestrials trying to tell the traditional tales of terrain and trick the indigenous thorns into thinking they're troublesome. bears don't bear arms so we believe they barely belong with our benign barrels and our good boy bullets.

Super Moon So Mesmerizing

Super Moon so mesmerizing
Extra-terrestrials
Aliens
Do they wonder who’s on Earth
Come greet Earth's homo-sapiens

You captivate me from above
I thank you and
I send you love
Your beam of light
shines through the night
Super Moon so luminescent

Your ever changing girth
Every quarter a rebirth
Culminates in all your glory
Super Moon so transitory

Gazing skywards so enticing
Gently lure me in
Hypnotizing
Tantalising
Super Moon so mesmerizing

Celestials

We are the celestials,
Different from these terrestrials,
Above such things bestial,
I'm an old age girl,
You are my world,
I love you to the moon
And beyond, none too soon,
We wander as stars,
Orbiting afar,
In universe above,
Endless divine love,
Deep in galaxies,
Across time and centuries,
Above the terrestrials,
We are the celestials.....

Cowardice

COWARDICE
I hold no grudges with the future
The terrestrials defines my remorse
And the magma could only solitice
My definite threads and shorouk’s
Are an adventurous comfort

Rising in the mamons
And defying my being
Only to stretch to the successes

Sad

The artificial
And what then would the golds bring
Sweetness, happiness, rejoicing

Am an astitute

But mine is pure glimpse
Abnormal but obvious
I still consider the Tetracks
Am so, so sorry to say but
I wish they will still be part of this….

Genesis Part A

In the beginning God created the heavens and earth.
Genesis 1 is a lengthy poem we collectively have chosen to read as a story.
                                                        It's validity is, en masse, inconclusive.
     What is the strength of your faith if it cannot withstand scrutiny though?

I wondered when beauty was created.

When did God create the elevated sensation of euphoria
           that dawns upon my chest when I look up to the sky
and see a parade of hues that could not exist on this planet?
Explaining why they end where heaven
                                                         changes its name to land.

The earth is not worthy.

The rose melts into the peaches
that in turn soften into a yellow mist
           that hides behind the horizon.

A performance replicated and rehearsed
over
         and over
                     and over
again by terrestrials but

we are not God.

Beauty was created on the second day.

Tazers

myths, stories, urban legends, history, and more similar tokens tell tazer tales to terrified terrestrials bound to go out to profess and testify.

and for what?

by God I know not

is it ironic coincidence since I was born as a snake in the wood?

I partake of the tree reluctantly anymore.

***

rounds are for paper! or tin

round and round again

machine gun man hangs with Alice in chains, pops culture with art school girlfriends as the world decays with fluoride inspired acrylics on concrete walls where art is in prison freedom laundry on the corridor to spontaneous penmanship

Why write poetry?
Someone asked again;
Why breathe?

~~~~~~~~~
Snail sliding slowly
Grass verge camouflage;
Morning psalm
~~~~~~~~~

Morning crowd
Busy feet congregate;
Fiddle with cellphones

~~~~~~~~~
Downtown office complex
Rush hour traffic;
Urgent commotion
~~~~~~~~~

Food court terrestrials
Sea of hungry faces;
No place to sit

~~~~~~~~~
Work day blues
So much for so little;
Make ends meet
~~~~~~~~~

Modern day woes
So little time,
So much to do

~~~~~~~~~
Healthy constellations
Mötley yoga class;
Fitness sublimates
~~~~~~~~~

Morning newspapers
Friday through Sunday;
Terminal indigestion

~~~~~~~~~
Words in a rhyme
Lost in a thought;
Inconsequential
~~~~~~~~~

Only crazy people write
Wasted resources;
Sober conclusion

Terrestrials

Aggregate fruits
                                               Single flowers

Stone Winds

The long tunnel at its end a light
To an eye it is a delight
Not only because gold is in sight
But because of ancient Gods this is symbol of might

No they are not extra terrestrials from the sky
All thou upon entire Omni verse they have their eye
Hiding in plain sight their depictions can be seen by harpy eagle that will fly
They are essence that will never die

They are spirits of Earth and its place
In abyss of space
They can transport you to different place
Beyond reality to exclusive grace

They are the stone winds
Those exist as cosmic or celestial whirlwinds
Where all that we know as reality rescinds
What would be last edge of breath that causes life descended from those
stone winds?

The Red Planet

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Black holes; the Milky Way of the galactics marooned....
Within their curtain call chambers of Galetorias pretexted signs
Twisting lines; terrestrials always reading into and beyound
Monisms minds spinning about in these vortex pools of thought?!
Grasping at stars to interpret what's not aneath this, Jurrasic mark....
Beastialities within the finest forms carved; bay windows in bizzare
Choices by behemoth spirits which perish amid this moment they starve
Scratching the surface upon foreign times afore shadows descending
To form their eyes these images pretending, to be other than they are!?
While as exhaling this dust of permeatings both near and afar in
Galaxies exploding; knowing that they have been dead for awhile....
And the purple speaks, within tainted poisons gathered along this
The paths of lost; emitting its aura in the wake of these crumbling
Eminent comets, now crashing into the waters of eternals wrath?!
