Best Terrestrials Poems

Kings and Queens Ii

Tell me your reasons and I shall tell you mine; never ceasing stories, but!?

Sheltered as a child and kept from the world, to soothe anothers scars....

Crippled through time these lives; life, psychologically mauled in maimed

Precipitations blades, leading the way while as carving stones of gray's

Jetison retro metros hand over fist in, contemporaries fit; this ice age rain?!

Tears pouring from blood red clouds these pools of pain to walk their plank....

Pirates of the Caribbean playing cowboys and indians again; falling stars

Upon terrestrials planes, with their prehistoric stones shaped like guns and bows

Taking aim amid the night of celestial sorrows from whence, they came!?

Ancients heavenly spirit now gathering the winds atop times turbulent waters

Of crimsons crashing unto the carnelian reef of what was; hearts that bled

In yesteryears fears like icicles piercing their eyes, to shatter loves dreams....

Tell me your reasons divination and I shall tell you mine; this soothing sea

Menhir's painted carmine whispers from beyound the mystic, torn veil?!

Angels dusting bejeweled crowns as passage beckons; this beacon

Calling unto the once lost children of light, tis time to come home....

Put away the guns and arrows and swords and bows; tears, upon fading shores ~

unwilling to toss
purple petals

though naturally
they drop

i don’t want to say goodbye
they’ve held me captivated
for a fortnight

from buds with sanguine leaves
proud with praise
to blossoming royal roses

though watered
autumn comes
like it does
for all terrestrials

winter tucks it into freeze frame
in the inner recesses of the mind
meaningful, yet
it dwarfs alongside the next periphery

i glance outside
to see the golden apogee
of late October

branches and boughs
still holding water

meaningful, yet…

Why write poetry?
Someone asked again;
Why breathe?

~~~~~~~~~
Snail sliding slowly
Grass verge camouflage;
Morning psalm
~~~~~~~~~

Morning crowd
Busy feet congregate;
Fiddle with cellphones

~~~~~~~~~
Downtown office complex
Rush hour traffic;
Urgent commotion
~~~~~~~~~

Food court terrestrials
Sea of hungry faces;
No place to sit

~~~~~~~~~
Work day blues
So much for so little;
Make ends meet
~~~~~~~~~

Modern day woes
So little time,
So much to do

~~~~~~~~~
Healthy constellations
Mötley yoga class;
Fitness sublimates
~~~~~~~~~

Morning newspapers
Friday through Sunday;
Terminal indigestion

~~~~~~~~~
Words in a rhyme
Lost in a thought;
Inconsequential
~~~~~~~~~

Only crazy people write
Wasted resources;
Sober conclusion

Terrestrials

Aggregate fruits
                                               Single flowers
                                              Multiple carpels

Spring Showers

gently, harshly, there and here
ripples in ponds, moistened air
like tears unchecked, drops and spills
the rain revered, clouds emptied

bolt-less doors swing, back and forth
windows alike, the cosmic force
litters, up-sped, into the sky
in whirls they float, and you know why

the streets flushed off with energy
dirt filled trenches overflowing,
deserted lands, tree felling winds
all life is kept, them caged or free

the hazy storm with no life flies
but roars and roams the bird-less skies
the homeless birds, caught in the cold
A cuddled pup who has a home

cowered livestock can stray and roam
playful Johnny looks on and groans
through the panes of his window washed
by every drop that fell or poured

gently, slowly, the clouds recede
and before soon the sun is seen
soon all the streets come back to life
trees greet the birds now in the skies

soft piercing rays, peep through the clouds
to search for life, and life it found
mild peace and calm, like cemeteries
the air so still, and so the trees

the friendly capes, the bathed lands
hold terrestrials, the kind of man
the birds released, even those free
to fly above, the land and sea.

high in the air, or stay enslaved
whichever still, the storm had fade.

Tazers

myths, stories, urban legends, history, and more similar tokens tell tazer tales to terrified terrestrials bound to go out to profess and testify.

and for what?

by God I know not

is it ironic coincidence since I was born as a snake in the wood?

I partake of the tree reluctantly anymore.

round and round again

The Red Planet

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Black holes; the Milky Way of the galactics marooned....
Within their curtain call chambers of Galetorias pretexted signs
Twisting lines; terrestrials always reading into and beyound
Monisms minds spinning about in these vortex pools of thought?!
Grasping at stars to interpret what's not aneath this, Jurrasic mark....
Beastialities within the finest forms carved; bay windows in bizzare
Choices by behemoth spirits which perish amid this moment they starve
Scratching the surface upon foreign times afore shadows descending
To form their eyes these images pretending, to be other than they are!?
While as exhaling this dust of permeatings both near and afar in
Galaxies exploding; knowing that they have been dead for awhile....
And the purple speaks, within tainted poisons gathered along this
The paths of lost; emitting its aura in the wake of these crumbling
Eminent comets, now crashing into the waters of eternals wrath?!
They Asked Me Who Did It - I Counted On My Right Hand and Blamed Them All
naked and red and relentless rotten macabre mongrels murder my mother’s marriage. cats on cablecast killing civilization with their cryptic chartreuse eyes. sharks stealing shillings by swimming short of their assigned section and summoning their felicitous assassination. trees taking territory from terrestrials trying to tell the traditional tales of terrain and trick the indigenous thorns into thinking they're troublesome. bears don't bear arms so we believe they barely belong with our benign barrels and our good boy bullets.
Contact With Extra-Terrestrials
Contact with Extra-Terrestrials?
By Elton Camp
Our galaxy is an enormous place
Extends into the depths of space
Even a “nearby” star is so far
Trip there physics does bebar
Even at light’s amazing speed
Full four years we would need
Spaceship can never go that fast
So many decades trip would last
Would make hard the rule
To take along enough fuel
Also would be incredible feat
To carry along enough to eat
If on the way, vessel needs repair
Not a single soul will ever be there
Own mending you must try
Not good enough?  You die.
Really, to it is no need to go.
Has no planets, experts know
It is true many planets have been found
Outside our own solar system’s bound
 Most are nothing but a gassy ball
Can’t support any human life at all
Few are found with solid crust
But are dry, hot covered by dust
Perhaps a place like Earth is there
But we have not a clue as to where
Naught to put us right on the track
To find needle in cosmic haystack
SETI has listened well for many a year
Not a single intelligent signal to hear
Does it mean nobody is out there?
Or to make contact they don’t care?
Maybe aliens are more advanced than we.
Have found some way our Earth to see.
Discovered just how they can stay alive
While exceeding light with warp drive
If space is curved like they say,
Wormholes may show the way
If find there some cosmic kink,
Travel through space in a wink
Why in space-time should they slip?
What here could be worth the trip?
 Why would they come so very far
To view a planet of hate and war?
Stone Winds
The long tunnel at its end a light
To an eye it is a delight
Not only because gold is in sight
But because of ancient Gods this is symbol of might
No they are not extra terrestrials from the sky
All thou upon entire Omni verse they have their eye
Hiding in plain sight their depictions can be seen by harpy eagle that will fly
They are essence that will never die
They are spirits of Earth and its place
In abyss of space
They can transport you to different place
Beyond reality to exclusive grace
They are the stone winds
Those exist as cosmic or celestial whirlwinds
Where all that we know as reality rescinds
What would be last edge of breath that causes life descended from those
stone winds?
Fame Everlasting
“Two eminent scientists say the human race is likely to become extinct at its own hand within 100 years as it exhausts resources through a population explosion and unbridled consumption.”
www.earthweek.com and The Plain Dealer, June 26, 2010
Just as the beasts that have gone before us –
Like the dodo and Tyrannosaurus –
We *****sapiens, some people think,
In a few decades, we’ll all be extinct.
Two scientists say that it now appears
In ninety-five maybe one hundred years,
The extra-terrestrials will commence
Referring to humans in the past tense.
So, I’m thinking if I get hopping
And find someone to print this jotting,
My fame of fifteen minutes from this rhyme,
Will come at quarter till the end of time.
Super Moon So Mesmerizing
Super Moon so mesmerizing
Extra-terrestrials
Aliens
Do they wonder who’s on Earth
Come greet Earth's homo-sapiens
You captivate me from above
I thank you and
I send you love
Your beam of light
shines through the night
Super Moon so luminescent
Your ever changing girth
Every quarter a rebirth
Culminates in all your glory
Super Moon so transitory
Gazing skywards so enticing
Gently lure me in
Hypnotizing
Tantalising
Super Moon so mesmerizing
Celestials
We are the celestials,
Different from these terrestrials,
Above such things bestial,
I'm an old age girl,
You are my world,
I love you to the moon
And beyond, none too soon,
We wander as stars,
Orbiting afar,
In universe above,
Endless divine love,
Deep in galaxies,
Across time and centuries,
Above the terrestrials,
We are the celestials.....
Genesis Part A
In the beginning God created the heavens and earth.
Genesis 1 is a lengthy poem we collectively have chosen to read as a story.
                                                        It's validity is, en masse, inconclusive.
     What is the strength of your faith if it cannot withstand scrutiny though?
I wondered when beauty was created.
When did God create the elevated      sensation of euphoria
           that dawns upon my chest when I look up to the sky
and see a parade of hues that could not exist on this planet?
Explaining why they end where heaven
                                                         changes its name to land.
The earth is not worthy.
The rose melts into the peaches
that in turn soften into a yellow mist
           that hides behind the horizon.
A performance replicated and rehearsed
over
         and over
                     and over
again by terrestrials but
we are not God.
Beauty was created on the second day.
