Tears of Venezuela

America enters not as shepherd,
but as wolf cloaked in justice.

You called Chávez tyrant,
you brand Maduro a trafficker—
yet your own markets drink the poison
you pretend to purge.

O America, double-tongued master of shadows,
you strike ships in waters that belong to none,
and proclaim yourself the law.

But power without restraint breeds fear,
and fear sharpens the knives of the forgotten.

COSMIC BLINKING 

Moving,
Blinking the moon,
Bold shaped clouds
Drifting by:-
Likewise,
A flock of geese
Silhouette the sky;
Their flapping wings,
Waving goodbye:
My blinking eyes,
Release goodbye 
Mirroring tears
Of keloid memories
Of you and me
As a shooting star
Departed the sky:-

In realms of antiquity, where myth and legend reign,
A dragon's lament echoes, a sorrowful refrain.

Falling like celestial fire, stories untold.

Within the creeping shadows,
do you think you can find me?
Before chaos implodes my soul ~
I’m lost amongst childhood
memories, pounded to ash and dust,
clouding my sight,
as silence stifles my screams.

Whilst rivulets of water collect
around cracked soles,

with each word left unsaid,
rising as foreboding

In keloid memories of supreme love,
Tears of grief and joy flow together,
Reflecting beauty even in death:-

So, be not proud, ole death;
Present tears of your grief,
Now stream as one

Moments

TEARS WON'T CALL THEM BACK

It is done
a soul has slipped away
no return, no familiar face
only stories to keep them near.

Tears may fall into rivers
but they will not call them back.
Sleepless nights unravel sorrow
yet the silence still remains.

So let your heart rest awhile
let it bend without breaking
so one day it may learn again
to love, to live, to carry on.

A Ring of Tears

He smiles, places the ring on her finger.
She smiles, but then she bows her head.
Cuz she knows that sometimes, love won't linger.
But with time, she'll know if love is dead.
