Premium Member Snow Melt - Sustaining A Dream

Sweeping into the lowlands
The river ran effortlessly
As the snow melted away
Running in a rage of glory
A quest set forth
To feed the valley of life sustained

From the cold despair
Each snowflake melting away
Forming a river of love
 From tributaries and veins

A gift to reveal
A wonderous dream
Life giving water
Had formed a beautiful lake

The peopke rejoiced sustained for another day

If only your heart could hop, as a frog
to aim away from the tedium of the daily slog.
Allow love to be the genuine treasure.
Your selected spot atop the magic tether
Trying to outlive your expected lifespan
power with full belief, as an amphibian.
It linked choice and chance in dancing.
Alongside, a dreamy lake of romancing.

An ocean of words is now utterly dry.
Each phrase exists under the sky.
I have viewed them dying in my mind.
No path out or hope, I'm fearful of what to find.
Flow and feelings were obsolete.
You'll be dying laughing as you start retreat.
This is the writer's "block-mayday" warning,
when ideas become too thick for moaning.

The firm-moving hazes took a scenic route.
Amid the chaos, cinders crumble into the soot.
The spirit is gone round on by a whirl of time.
In quest of the North Star in the beauty prime.
never-ending race-attempting dashing.
to draw a fictional approach to finishing.
wiping your eyes and setting boldface on it.
Whatever transpires, foster hope and wit.

Joyfulness is such a lovely feeling
a character that's so very appealing
meeting it in another person
draws you into its magical fold

It's an experience hard to describe
deep deep down right inside your heart
filling you right up to the very brim
feeling like overflowing in no small part

When you experience this joy
it takes one to a higher plane
flying away above such humanity
then the joy defeats all its slain

The originator of this sustaining effect
God sovereign and creator of all
this joyfulness comes down upon here
from heaven with Jesus on free fall

One of the promises from Jesus
to send His comforter here below
that joyfulness be planted deep within
like all good rhyme, it'll simply flow

(This is written about the appeal and value of being joyful and the effects of can have upon you.)

Not From Here

No one is from this earth,
But I am a unique case.
I never fully left heaven through birth.
Being gifted and superimposed by God’s grace.

My feet are on the ground,
But my mind is way up in the sky,
Far above the heavens is where I’m found,
Where God Himself resides.

Though I walk this sordid earth in short,
I’m surrounded by His glorious peace,
Placed within a warming holy transport,
Awaiting the right time to return home to Thee.

I can only flip on this everlasting conduit switch,
After I fully live out my life’s mission here.
I tread this path on eternal ground enriched,
Desiring to obediently wholly adhere.

My spirit is with my loving Father’s presence,
For I have never truly left His essence.
He shares His Fatherly love with me in grace,
With omnipotent power, as I seek and see His face.

Without regard for strengths or faults,
He perfectly loves me with eternal increase.
Tenderly He heals me as He exalts,
Filling me with His awesome hope and peace.

I withstand the blows which come my way,
For He hides me safely in our secret place.
I take refuge in our sweet, glorious heaven,
For I’m not from here, but there, sent in His holy procession.

Caught Up

I am caught up with the God of rest and truth,
I am held up in His loving chest as proof,
That I'll never be released,
From this incomprehensible peace.

I am caught up in His service for free,
Because He has paid for me,
And saved me from me,
And with all these, I am wholly at ease.

I am anticipating the day,
When everything will change,
And we'll all be free, eternally.
We'll be caught up, so heavenly.

Tenderly I rest, for I have passed this sordid test.
I am reborn, and now must continue to grow,
As an embryo, that will one day,
Be like my Father, as I consistently obey.

In Christ I am free, and like Him, is how I strive to be.
He is perfect, and ever strong, never wrong.
With power unending, and righteousness unbending,
His kingdom will never end, and in it, we will win!

I am caught up with His arms and hands,
Which were pierced for me,
And hung so cruelly,
Because of the love He has in me.

I have finally caught up, to where I need to be,
And now I must truly begin, to live forever with Him,
The way He would, if He were me.
Don't worry Lord, I’ll hurry, and God speed!

The Newly Wetted Ground

Walking on the newly wetted ground,
After a long spell of Winter drought,
I ponder how rain never fails to astound:
This valuable shower we can't do without!

As I tread on the browne'd earth
Browned by the shower of yester-night,
I wonder where I got such a worth:
To be watched with such close oversight!

Someone's delivering service to me,
Loyally, like an hotel room keeper!
Yet there is a dichotomy:
I pay nothing to the caterer!

There is some love expressed in rain.
It's not only soothing but sustaining as well.
Especially after a long drought strain,
I rejoice that some rain fell!

Who said?
Health isn't about politics!
Health shouldn't be about politics!
Health should be above partisan politics!

Healthy systems
are not about unchanging purity
and safety
and traditional dogma.

Healthy ego and eco systems
are much more about diversity
flexibility
and courageous curiosity

Just as wealthy economic networks,
local through global,
include ecological interrelationships

We might associate resonance
with polyculturally robust interactions,
personal and political,

Multiculturally resilient
dynamic stasis--
Slow inclusive
and diversely intricate
Beauty
cross-pollinating
climaxing inclusive diversity

Avoiding the monocultural purity
and calculating sobriety
of a 100% crabgrass landscape,

Or 100% concrete

Or 100% saltwater environment
with no above water healthy ecosystemic landmass
embedded in prehistoric
pure and safe
powerful but unenlightened
bedrock.

Poetry, My Life Sustaining

When your breath you are not feeling
and your heartbeats you stopped hearing

When who are around you, you are not seeing
and your very missed world started objecting

When you feel lost as you lose the sense of belonging
and you wonder if your compass you are following

When what you are feeding on, far from the soul fulfilling
and you remain the subject and the object of your seeking

When you feel a pain of no trace, the Self ravaging
and you keep for a magical elixir looking

When the touch of a dried inflamed pen burning
and you can grasp the nature of your suffering

When alluring wonders in silence you keep admiring
and the words within you are still and hiding

When you muse and long for verse reciting
and the Muse of poetry, your soul invoking

When to all the missing links I am yielding
as every ounce of me aching for poetry, my life sustaining.

Sustaining Secretive Solitudes

I put aside my heart where love betrays the nestled night,
And egotistical echoes fall short in their submissive stagger…
Sanctioned solitudes fill the antagonizing abrasive air,
As my eyes stare through the never-ending vapourific voids.

The essence of the love I held extinguishes upon existence,
Like a severed statuesque Idol I only feel the empty now…
My tangled tears run dry for I cannot wilfully weep,
Only the lachrymose rain supports me with solace.

Now stands before you the rigamortis ruins left to rot,
No sounds I hear, only entombments of a chambered heart…
No words I speak, enslaved by illusionary imbecilic love,
I am lost in the wandering wilderness of non-existence.

Life Sustaining Forest

Deep and dark is the Verdant forests

Supporting the ecological balance

Supporting many plants and species

A multitude of branches and various green leaves

Giving rise to undergrowth so vital

Fruit bat’s dropping life giving seeds

The ecosystems structure of the forests

Surpass much more so than technology

And yet despite there primordial eldritch nature

We choose to cut and burn them down

Without the understanding and with our ignorance

We choose the path of unbalance

Despite the flow of beauty and life sustaining properties

Arrogant men just destroy it all

Cut down and burn and ravage, the earth

Leave nothing but a landscape of horror in their wake

Ignorant arrogant selfish man

Sacrificing forests as if in its way

Yet without them it spells the end of days.

Strength Start Sustaining

Strength Start Sustaining

It may take much training and straining,
When strength want to start sustaining;
Goal may meet,
And then repeat;
During length of life you have remaining.

Sustaining On Your Breath

perched on your
wounded
heart
woven shade
i dwell
watering flowers in paradise
tender lids haven
of dreams
i
search
beyond the seventh sea
sustaining on your
moist breath

Sustaining Grace

Ah, the Stream from where my spirit drinks!
His cooling comfort touches and I'm new,
Refreshed again, restored to His eternal link
His living water flows, giving strength- it's true!
Like the deer that thirsts I crave His Presence
He fills my cup and there I feed on Grace,
And everything I have that's in existence
Comes from Him, I live to seek His Face!

Sustaining Companies

Companies are open for business as usual,
eventhough the economical reports are
filled with doom and gloom,
An infusion of cash is what they lack,
while bill collectors flank their backs,
Open, quiet and empty,
seems to be corporations' destiny,
Whatever happened to the land of
good and plenty,
The grim reaper has overtaken many
lives, while Americans struggle to survive,
The holidays are on the horizon and the citizens'
morales are bleak,
Who will sustain the companies, so they last
more than a few weeks?
