As a submissive and passive lad

As a submissive and passive lad...

and boyish looking sexagenarian
with similar disposition,
I revel(ed) reading in general
(and spent carefree idle summer days
squirreled away with tomes
of posthumous authors)
buoyed aloft in seventh heaven
courtesy the treasure trove of books
occupying shelf space
within childhood home
at 324 Level Road
(long since razed to the ground)
and indulged passion
for the written word
as independent learning,
and both parents

The Strength Within

I will not bow, nor bend, nor break,  
For I have fire no storm can take.  
My voice, though quiet, will rise and roar,  
A wave that crashes on every shore.  

No chains of silence will hold me still,  
For I am forged by iron will.  
The world may

I may be my own woman, an independent alpha female.
But even I can equally bend to the exact will
Of either an alpha male or even a beta male.

What difficult insanity?
Repeating every day.
Laughing, pure absurdity
at life’s prevailing way.

The lack of understanding
buried deep in darker deeds.
Dysfunctional autonomy,
that never will succeed.

Psychotic conversations with
an entity not there.
Do you feel the sunshine’s warmth?
Or smell the human air?

As myriads of madness
comprise the daily being,
vital judgements come to be
a warped reality’s

Submissive Assumptions

Revealing what may be 
rhetorical perspective 
Concealing vagueness of 
others as a collective 
Irrational is the truth 
from all the official lies 
Impractical to expose 
those once thought so wise 

Anonymously to be judged, 
I then had to reflect  
Inconspicuously to be ignored, 
just show me respect
Dismissiveness from others 
can be so undeserved

The days when women stayed at home and worked
From dawn to night,
Played roles of 
Model 
Wives
She
Hankered 
For respect
But was shown none; 
Instead in silence suffered his abuse.

Submissive To God

Submissive to God, we’re steadfast for His kingdom*
---Endued with His wisdom to enjoy willingness’ freedom.

Secured in the Saviour, we’re settled in His redemption’s assurance
---Exposed to Scriptures’ truth to overcome fatal ignorance.

Satisfied by Christ, we’re sufficed by His grace
---Enveloped within His love around His compassion-embrace.

Seeking the Almighty, we’re shaped through His victory-might
---Enabled by His power, intensified

A Submissive View

As we lean on
each other-
we learn how to yield.

Submissive Lover

I may seem blunt ,but my heart is decaying without you
Seeming isn't the problem but assuming is the painful reality that we have in our lovely reality we built for ourselves
It was us but now it's me and you distant friends miles and miles so near 
From each other like two worlds meeting once more

Submissive Affection - Not

Your thoughtless talking 
Got me running and walking
Our reflection of cyber-sensation is not genuine
You're playing with my feelings and head now...that's mean...
Where have you been?
I have lost you...once again...
How can I forgive you, boo,
When we can't see face to face?
Searching all over for you too
Am I just this overwhelming disgrace?

Far From Submissive

A placid Ocean ripples with
undulating, hypnotic waves.
And lost within Her depth's embrace;
lies the bodies of kings and slaves.

Exposing forgotten treasures;
cascading breakers seed the shore.
And hint at what still lies submerged;
deep within Her ebony core.

She is a seductive siren;
luring fishermen and whalers.
And yet, She's far from submissive;
drowning impertinent sailors.

A potent brew of emotions;
gets preserved in Her
