Life Lessons From The Track

Anyone
can go fast
in the straights

Winners
go fast
— in the turns

(2)

Real racers
race
Everyone else
— just talks

(3)

At the sight
of blood
Your foot
— goes to the floor

(4)

The last lap
may have been finished
But the race
— is never over

(5)

Pit stops ...
the key
to victory
— or defeat

(6)

Trophies
are for cases
Speed
— is for life

(7)

When nothing
is working
— go faster

We walk we stand with kneel down
In the dark but we’re not alone
There is a light that shines bright
We are not our own
We’re embraced by a higher light
We are energy hone
We’re shine bright we’re light in part of light soul spirit do shine

Elohim’s luminous light

LUMINOUS

And when you cry in the rain;
Doesn’t matter if you’re seen;
Because the smile on your face;
Instilled resonates a light;
Persona insight diligences straights

Elohim’s luminous light

Premium Member DREAM I DREAM A THING

Day and day daze away I dream
I am a futurist i dream Of future things
Happening. Pluto schemes and
Pleasantries utopian eloquence
And such a rush I think I blink I feel
The zeal! Yeah after all I dream
A dream of excellence and promising
Progress where we are all blessed
With best of our own request and
Not at all ever again stressed with
Having less. Dream i dream
A thing of exceptional access
Never Having to
Confess Preoccupation of
Wanting your needs have been
Satisfied you WILL no longer BE
in dire straights. Day and day daze
Away dream of never having to suffer
Consequences not your fault not
Your vault. Never got caught at
Doing wrong? Instead having to
Struggle with doing whats right?
Always at the time
Living on the line. NOW WE DREAM
REALITIES INTO BEINGS! We never
Again have a dream within a
Nightmare denied! Yeah hey there now
Relax no more worry. DREAM ALL
IMPOSSIBILITIES TO FRUITION
NEW CHAPTER NOW!

Mind , Body and Soul

Mind , Body and Soul make me whole.
But this particular day everything was in disarray.
Woe is me as I cannot seem to move my body,
The sprit is willing but body is weak, more importantly I have lost my speech. How can I ask for help when my body refuses to work.
Trapped in a body , no communication to alert others I truly am in dyer straights.
God heard my cries and my sister came to help
Saw that something was wrong and immediately called for the emergency services and GP.
They rushed me to the hospital and tests were done
That was when I found out I had suffered a mental health
Episode . The day I was known as a Schizophrenia person.
Learning about my new mental health condition was daunting to me, taking it all in was depressing.
With the love of family friends and medical assistance my life is fine.
Do not take your Body ,Mind and Soul for granteded especially your Mental health .you only have one body.

Premium Member The Dark Side of Liberty

Dark denizens of the night
    gathering in ill-lit backrooms
      haunts of the night

  They tease each other with
    rouged cheeks, their mascara
      their pimply breasts, shaved legs

  Some are known for tantalizing
    tempting striptease, revealing
      hairy chests and knobby knees

  Their hardened faces greeting poor
    unsuspecting 'straights,' who, horrified
run screaming off into the night

And now the Left has lumped these
    misbegotten sickos of the night
in with today's 'civil rights movement'

  of transgenders, kweers, and worse
too debauched to describe, to be
      celebrated in 'Drag Queen Shows'

in our public libraries, where America introduces
her precious youngsters into the fraudulent
creepy cabals of Satanism, endorsed by 'leaders' gone mad

                        ~ Dearest Lord~

Bring your divine presence to our confused world,
in arrogance, lost!

Caring no longer for you, we, in dire straights
of human desparation.

We see ourselves as poetic gods, our souls covered,
with conceited frost.

Our hearts turn away from you, mired in the depths
of self-adoration!

Of course, all straights are bent
our rotary motion

the further back we travel in
space, the greater the arc
apparent

even our words are subject to gravity

inclined toward earth, absorbed
long before eternity

some mine for jewels
I uncover the promises kept
and unkept...lies and truths
compacted to indistinguishable
masses – buried

with the bones of those who spoke them
absent lips and breaths

but a disgruntled grave digger I am not

just an insatiable book-worm

regurgitating my volume of Poe

Politicians and Impropriety

them we should pity
Politicians not pretty
Impropriety

to anyone poems apply
with all my haiku supply
have gone and passed by

avoided mire
his straits (straights) did become dire
term would expire

what we did with feet
have been member of elite
God will meet and greet

truth failed to provide
they always have lied and lied
felt guilty inside

Our Love Parallel Lines

It's desperate to
       compare our love
       with straight parallels!
       The lines only meet
       in infinity...
       infinity expands
       and increases the mismatch
       the goals, the straights...!

Wildcards

When writing the words,
are they thought or then felt
Which to come first,
cards different once dealt

But sometimes together,
as in straights or a flush
They win back the reader
—with more than potluck

Islands in the Stream

Islands linked together like forged argent charms,
In straights of silent, surging currents,
Where Watchtowers of Fresnel lens sound fog sirens
Where sacred shoals harbor shame forgiven;
Lightships built high on cribs and Keys of truth finally seen
As bright argand lamps on chariot wheels send out beacons,
To signal sightless ships with broken masts and rudders
Through whirlpools of turbulent canals and gushing straights,
To find serene deep-water ports in chains of channeled islands.

Yet, these no islands only mountaintops of maturity climbed
From submerged land coupled at a thousand leagues
Beneath the tidal moon enchantment;
Restoring milestone harbors of illumination
Words lit by isophase candle lamps inside carved prisms
Expanding light waves of thought - recognitions of new plateaus
Topping astragals of aerobeacons with untasted adventures
Into enlightenments leaving behind each newly explored isle -
New christened tall ships navigate siren’s lure in uncharted streams.

Cold September Day

The Scales of Justice didn't tip my way,
I figure from the dues I've had to pay.
While thumbing down to Shaky Town
I thought I turn my luck around,
At a drugstore in Salinas on a cold September day.

The Wheel of Fortune, rolled out the door
With the owner tied and ordered to the floor.
As from the till the larger bills
I grabbed until my pockets filled,
A gunshot woke the morning on that cold September day.

My Guardian Angel flew out of town
As my body wretch’d and tumbled to the ground.
There close to death I came to rest,
A sheriff's bullet in my chest.
My ticket back to prison on that cold September Day.

Never caught a glimpse of Lady Luck.
But that ain't going to make me pass the buck.
After 3 to 10 in Folsom pen
And wondering where my life has been,
I walked out in the sunlight on a cold September day.

The Horn of Plenty wouldn’t blow my song,
But somehow through these years I’ve got along.
While never holding nothing more than
Inside straights and hotel doors,
I'll sit out while you dance with life this cold September day.

Dedicated to Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt and John Prine.

Parallels Lines

It's desperate

       as parallels lines!

       and increases the mismatch

Life Is

Life is ups and it's downs,
                it's shorts and it's longs
It's crooks and it's straights,
                it's rights and it's wrongs
It's emptys and it's fulls,
                it's hots and it's colds
It's nows and it's thens,
                it's youngs and it's olds
It's darks and it's brights,
                it's hards and it's softs
It's evers and it's nevers,
                it's onces and it's ofts
It's goods and it's bads,
                it's dirtys and it's cleans
It's happys and it's sads,
                it's nices and it's means
It's alls and it's nones,
                it's belows and it's aboves
It's hugs and it's kisses,
                it's hates and it's loves
It's beginnings and it's endings,
                it's slows and it's fasts
It's questions and it's answers,
                it's firsts and it's lasts
It's rounds and it's squares,
                it's befores and it's afters
It's ins and it's outs,
                it's tears and it's laughter
It's all of these things rolled up in a shell
So have yourself a good one, and I wish you well
