Premium Membernothing spicy or startling

Just long island iced tea, the Jamaican Pig told us.
We knew better than this, for we knew this pig, Gus.
Nothing spicy or startling inside the glass? I said.
He said no, but his tell-tale face turned a brilliant red.

Startling Vision

This startling vision,
has happiness inscribed
on the thread of its destiny.

with dimensions so noble,
its piercing cries,sets the
soul aflame with burning desire.

in our isle of solitude,
the little lantern light, lits our path
and the crooked is made clear.

this startling vision,
never melts like the candle wax,
neither is it unstable like the ocean tides.

it lusters softly,
like the radiance of

** Devotion Poem, VANTAGE POINTS **
(For Jim. #17 in Devotion Poem Series)

“I’m not a romantic,”
you announced at the very beginning
With a side-flick of your hand
As if you might then stand
To exit…taking along your trail
Of cool colors — the blues and greens —
Too unwilling for any startling
By my sun yellows, tangerine oranges

A Sad Startling Beauty

--The feeling of after hearing an ancient love story

Searching love but being desolate

Joy, sadness and pain

A Startling beauty

Unlucky destiny

For whom sorrow and empty?

Empty lament

A romantic lonely dream.

Startling Questions From the Stewardess

The Stewardess’ Startling Questions

By Elton Camp

Safety procedures she will mention
Few, if any, pay very much attention

They are interested in taking a nap
Or using the computer in their lap

One day, the stewardess was taken aback
Because the captain had a heart attack

He groaned and slumped in his seat
She could barely hear his heartbeat

There was no copilot

My Startling Moments X-D

It’s rather odd
That I woke up pretty early this Saturday morning
It’s rather odd
That I awoke from my indescribable dream, filled with mysteries

It’s somewhat peculiar
That I enjoy being a teenager—now I could do whatever I want and when I want!
But that’s selfish of me, huh? Ha-ha like I care…psh!
It’s rather alarming
That I awoke from

A Startling Step

Through a passage of deceit
I face that which I fear greatly
Terrified and curious
Debating what it is that will make me

In this life we must guard our steps
Because that’s what leads us to our fate
But nothing happens as you desire
Possibly for ones own sake

Prepared or not I’m on my way
Life doesn’t halt for individuals
The truth isn’t

Startling Truth

Each beautiful wish
becomes a star
and it shines over us at night
thousands of beautiful wishes
waiting to be fulfilled

And god has taken the stars
put them into groups
making up the constellations
one greater picture of all the wishes in it

when you look hard enough
you will find me there

Each constellation
looked at
simultaneously gives you a picture
we have yet to complete that
