Rest in my love

Rest in my love,
Calm as a dove,
Be secure in its promise,
For its integrity shall not compromise,

Let us soar my love,
In sublime sky above,
Where colors of drowsy spring views,
Blush with splendours of celestial hues,

The frolic of love is agile,
To find us wearing familiar smiles,
Without the burdens of miles,
There will be no distance between us,
Even when we have a lovers' fuss,

Hold me forever dear,
Never with fear,
For the passion that carries our dreams,
Are sacred dotes on our souls' entwine,
Of bonds forever divine.

Leaf

I've been trying to find balance in the sheets,
but they keep scolding me.

For action to be taken, my dreams shall disappear.
And the knife is forced up to my very soul.

When will this torment end and I'll be able to see the rainbow upon the valley?

Will my heart be able to take everything that is yet to come or shall I wither and die in the youthless pit of hope?

Is that all there is or am I closed as a clam to the splendours of the world?

I am nothing but a leaf.

Premium MemberChicks

Handpicked, like coffee seeds or strawberries, ten eggs I kept
Like a tensed insomniac, for a long time I'd not slept
I found a change in the bloom of the dermis as days passed
There came out surprise-filled tint tots, elegance unsurpassed.

Red, green, blue, purple, and yellow, like a compressed rainbow
With perfectly blown balloons, as children merrily glow.
As seedlings spring up at night and glisten in the morning,
These soft talc and cloud agate gems appear without warning.

Standing erect and straight with sun-moon-stars-tinged, blazing eyes;
Robotic reflexes; peep, peep, peep, filling up the skies
Judgement quality of quantity like the honeybees
Psychic contagion is in them, like treasures in deep seas.

Symbols of resurrection, springtime splendours, and new life
A masterpiece of nature's craftsmanship after a strife
Scenes of Elysium, Coleus, and Jannah revealed
The mysteries of chicks, like the Milky Way, are concealed.

The Last Ride

When in a coffin young man lay as a whole
and then to satisfy curiosity,i ask
What is body and where is soul?
But to burry him deep is the next task

The last Gathering to see the splendours of dead man
and then again, slowly i ask in the heart
what is fame and where is the name?
Sooner from the eyes he has to depart

The tears and screams will dissolve in the time
and then something last,i have to ask
What is your's and where is mine?
it is the moment that burns the mask

Death indeed has swallowed his pride
How stupendous yet painful is his last ride

                  ……Musing in Moonlight……

Nay, of holiday splendours, do not sing.
Speak ye of integrity, winsome, bright, true
Words resplendent, as in days of my youth
        Verses, meaningful, and thus, nourishing!

Ban words,banal-only words for a Queen!
Avoid the enslavement to daily post.
Years passby~best, enjoy a sunny coast,
With family, not these internet ghosts!

Life, with its glories, passes way to soon.
Lovers, children, dogs ,cats do need our time.
Whilst we avoid them, our fruit on the vine?
        Candles, bright~musing in dreamy moonlight!

Premium MemberKiss of Fate

Gone are the splendours of simplicity
  when youth and innocence did life portend;
now my days are filled by complexity
and sweet utopian dreaming at an end.
Thus I am not a man unversed in sin
nor a beguiled fool to splendorous love -
truly within I feel unforgiven
and each sober thought this reminds me of.
Soul-destroying are the long stolen years -
its conscious slow death, its visceral grief
that robs me of all my wonderful cares
and leaves me only to my unbelief.
An oath of freedom I remember now
but cold the kiss of fate upon my vow.

Keep Parched No Karmic Pot

Every poem penned may not get writ well,
Some bloom, some wilt, some see not much of light,
A full moon wanting to cast silver spell,
Dawn dawning, submits to her splendours bright.

Not all pens get to reach the depth of heart,
Nor all of life may from a dream dreamt stem,
Some get withered by old nightmares apart,
And fail to imprint their lasting emblem.

Man toils still all the same, hindrance nor let,
Tries spreading dream blossoms on a tall bough,
And yet, few what they greed may ever get,
Alas, soil seeds or not, one ought to plough.

Man ought to sow seeds— wild rather than not,
And never once keep parched his karmic pot.

Galloping Denturn Poetry - Falling Snow

Falling snow, beauty belies its hidden dangers!
White-veiled mountains can be a threat to all below,
But on the day the inviting piste, it's splendours!
Skiers, see the sparkle in their eyes, they love the snow!

They jump from mounds, landing in a great snow flurry!
Slamon round the mounds, snow flying, friends cheer them on!
Then there's tobogganers, always in a hurry!
Snowboarders, somersaulting, an exhibition!

Dusk, the piste brilliantly lit, skiers enchanted.
They no longer ski alone, shadowed company.
Downhill runs ending with a party, some canted
Party ending all happy, no one got frumpy!

Next day, goodbyes all done and dusted, flying home.
Still, snowing flight cancelled, oh well no one complained.
Sadly the snow, heavy, piste closed, hear them all moan!
The next day, avalanches and worse for them rained!

Premium MemberYou Rape These Precious Splendours

If you squeeze the trigger something more than what happens will happen!

If you decide that's what you've got to do?

It's not just a body you kill

It's a life with memories and people

It's people you don't know whose hearts you break

It's pictures on the wall of smiling faces

A voice so warm to someone, somewhere you take - to deafen them with lonely silence forever

Someone's memory of an helpless baby face - you rape these precious splendours.

If you squeeze the trigger your life will never be the same

The sun will dull even on days when it's shining

The stars won't glisten anymore for you

You'll forever hear the sound of demons calling.

Amber Coloured Rivers

The rolling farmlands
That feeds our tribal children alike
And fertile vineyards abound
A tawny of sapphire seas
A prodigious floral kingdom
Amber coloured rivers
That plunge into an ocean
Of mercurial moods
Roaring with stealth silence
Tranquil beaches and lagoons
Rocky shores and enchanting seasides
The imposing cliffs and highlands
Flanked by towering mountains
Highvelds dry as sand
Rough as a rasp
Around the vast arena of the bushveld
Lies a stealthy leopard
A slouching serpent through the tawny grasses
An impala lolling in a shade
The pungent breeze of a dangling buck in a lion's mouth
The swiftness fling of a cheetah's wrath
My humble abode
My South Africa
Land of scenic splendours....

Indecision

Indecision

Soft and golden is the sunlight,
Warm and luscious is the peach.
Gently in my hand I hold it
As the world within my reach.
I inhale its heady fragrance
Lips caress its downy skin,
Yet I hesitate to bite it
Break into the flesh within.
Thus I stand upon the threshold
Of a world that beckons me,
“Come and step into adventure
Taste the splendours you can see.”
Still I hesitate to enter
Though the door is open wide.
Eager for the fruit I’m offered
Fearful of the worm inside.

Paris

PARIS

We adore her splendours;
But Paris displays these
Long aloof avenues, and arbours
Of precisely pruned trees;
Turns a disdainful look
At our presence,
Gives a Gallic shrug
At our absence:
See Paris and die -
Paris will not even sigh.

A Virgin's Love

Captured a moment my heart
By her beauty ? Perfect, in creamy white
Silken splendours wearing pastel shorts to shape
Desires highlights ? Hugging tight her hourglass sublime
Divine velvet legs glistening of sunlight reflecting from these golden locks ?
Perfumed as fair beckoning her kisses while harboring no illusions....
Creation's gift a beautiful girl ? Intense, the flames we share.

The Depths of Her Sixteenth Century Mars

Tangerine the scene spilling through this green glass
Crossing her thighs as she bathes inside, love's afterglow..
Dare I let Ginger go, knowing insatiable her hunger ?
Staring outside the window and, a sudden knock upon
Their red door deja vu it seems, I have been here before
Familiar, this scent ? While she peers; moors moon brushed
Aside midnight blue as carmine hues, filling her eyes ah but time
To loose these binds when their ladies enter ? Smiling in tune
Slowly slipping as sliding across, her fiery flesh glowing amid natures
Splendours and she, bending forward inquiring unto that my heart....
All I could think of although were Shakespeare they, reaching for her arching
Screams renaissance recapturing ? A stained-glass reflection quoting Macbeth as I pierced.

The Father of Light

Silken slivers....

Aside the rolling sea

Falling from the knowing stars

Beyond these swaying trees ~

Shadows playing, now

Beneath their dancing leaves

Twirling toward the waiting ground

Amid this summer's breeze ~

Moonbeams....

Splashing upon their journeys canvas

Colliding, with the darkened skies

Celestial colours of heavenly wonders

These painting's, before my joyful eyes ~

Turning toward such whispers, now

Which penetrate the darkened night

Echoes of Angelic splendours

Gliding, atop the timeless tide....

Twinkle twinkle, you silken stars

Now I know, just who, you are!

Walking toward the waiting shoreline ~

From beneath these swaying trees

Endless lights of brightened wisdom

Amid this summers breeze

Truth, beyound the promised horizon

Within this place I've seen ~

And heard Angelic voices

Whisper, "Your Light," deep inside of me

"The Father, of All Creation!"....

.............."My Soul"............

Now waltzing upon, "Your Eternal, Sea!" *
