Write me a poem about the light
About how strong you are despite
The challenges you face in life
When balances don’t seem right
Sing me a song about your hopes
How you cheer even when broke
No tears in beer nothing used like dope
Except music near as an antidote
Paint me a picture with your heart
Light and airy with glee and spark
That could light the way in dark
Despite a day when life’s no park
Build me a sculpture full of desire
With your very own passion and fire
That’ll shine on in time in mind’s higher
Making one think and dream inspired
Throw me a kiss in the white wind
For it I’d live in a little silver sin
The kind that is always forgiven
In heart in mind in earth in heaven
Be optimistic in what you do
For I believe in me and I believe in you
Who
Will
Live
Forever?
We are all
passengers
on this earth.
No one
will
be
here
forever.
Just always
say thank
you Lord ...
" It is night
then
morning
will
come."
A living
... Person....
Is...
always ...
better / because
...he " she"
breathing
Well.
April 20/2023
there is a poem
written in your flesh
that commands me
to read it loudly
my lips
are trembling
the words
are burning
my tongue
your breath
in my ear
such a…
beautiful song
i listen
your body
singing alone
what a wonderful
music you are
I once wrote a love song
with my soul. A Shakespearean
love sonnet we could sing together.
I thought it would always keep
your body close to mine. But,
our harmony became off-key,
the words muddled.
We lay in the grass seeing faces
in the sky. (Is that cloud your face
drifting from me? Is the sky
really falling? On us?)
Your words, "I'm leaving" cut open
my heart and we watched as our
music played out.
I loved you then and still feel a tug
on my heart when hearing your
name. How can two people who love
so deeply search for the tiniest fault,
which becomes a fissure, unleashing
a flood that washes away love?
How crazy is life that we unravel the
very thread that has sewn our lives
together? In anger, we threw our love's
puzzle onto the floor, then frantically
tried to remember how the pieces once
fit so snugly, so uniformly...so impossibly.
I've learned now not to live my love songs.
My feet are firmly placed on rock instead of
sand. When those intoxicating words and lovers
call me, I'll not answer. But I'll still listen
for their music; I'll still dream.
Story of Jesus poem did mention;
Which had become my intention;
Into music my poem was created;
When they had read it celebrated.;'
Jesus for me a great picture drew;
What I did want he always knew;
Subject of what was His creation;
Me saved from sin and my salvation.
James Horn
I remember the two story frame house
surrounded by a gold sea of wheat
and the summer morning before the heat
the sounds from the creek would be my rouse
the sound of water running over rocks
held no fascination as it ran
it was the clinking sound of a tin can
that made me run to the door with no locks
the sound that came drifting up from the creek
the sound of voices of just a few
a kitchen match being struck on a shoe
in the summer maybe just a week
where do they come from and where do they go
they don't live in a house like I've known
they don't eat at a table in a home
I don't question for fear they don't know
I sit and listen for name of a town
and highway numbers I hear them say
and names of rivers a new one today
I know there is much more to be found
lying on our back we watch clouds roll by
they seem to be more like puffs of steam
going the same direction as the stream
these people move like clouds in the sky
suddenly I would stir and look about
hearing my mother calling my name
and just as before I've always came
then one day so distant my mothers shout
Looking back on the memory of
The dance we shared beneath the stars alone
How could I have ever known
The way it all would end
The way it all would go
Please forgive me – I know not what I do
Please forgive me – every word I say is true
Please forgive me – I can’t stop loving you
He put that bottle to his head and pulled the trigger
He finally drank away my memory
I found him face down in the pillow
With a note that said I’ll love you till I die
Please forgive me – I know not what I do
Please forgive me – every word I say is true
Please forgive me – I can’t stop loving you
I’m glad I didn’t know
The way it all would end
The way it all would go

Sing a Song Poem
When you look at me, my heart begins to float.
All the world seems bright and gay.
There's not another one could take your place.
You make me happy, when skys are grey!
I can't give you anything but love, baby.
Let me hear you whisper, that you love me too.
Put your arms around me honey, hold me tight.
Let me call you sweetheart, I'm in love with you.
When I'm in your fond embrace,
the sun comes shining thru.
You've been my inspiration,
days are never blue.
If I had Aladdin's lamp for only a day,
I'd make a wish, and here's what I'd say.
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine,
please don't take my sunshine away!

i hear the storm is coming
the wind is howling again,
blowing through the trees
the leaves are falling down,
the rain starts beating
on the window pane
lightning is flashing
and the sound of thunder and rain,
a sitting here shaking
don't know what to do,
tiles of my rooftop
its making me feel blue,
the birds are not singing
and no sun in sky
nothing but darkness clouds
in the sky so high,
am watching trees blowing
shaking with almight
scared the tree will visits me
in the middle of the night,
why are storms violent
and give us such a scare
the way things are going
i dont think mother nature cares,
the sea levels rising
the waters on the floor,
the dolphins are now swimming
out side my back door,
a wish the rain would go away,
and come back some other day,
and let the sunshine bright,
for this storms so bad it gives us all a fright,
i want to feel the sunlight
beating on my face
dont want the storm here anymore,
as it ruins our day,
please little storm cant you hear my prayer,
come back some other day so we are not so scared,
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Frosty the snowman
Grandma got runover by a reindeer
Jingle bells
Silent night...
The most wonderful time of the year
Walking in a winter wonderland
Rudolph the rednose reindeer
Up on the house top...
Rockin' around the Christmas tree!
Hark the herald angels sing
Joy to the world
It came upon a midnight clear
Angels we have heard on high
Away in a Manger
He is still the Christ of Christmas!!
Still Emanuel
Go tell it on a mountain!!
