Have you ever imagined the feeling 
Of soaring above the clouds 
Only the breeze between you and the earth 
Away from the bustling crowds 
  
With the occasional sound of the fiery blast 
That keeps your airship afloat 
An oh so peaceful, heavenly solitude 
As you sail this celestial boat

Rise and Glide

We break the cage and rise so high,
With wings of steel, we touch the sky.
Pouring gold in the rain, we soar,
Chasing dreams forevermore.

We shatter the cage, then rise and glide,
With wings of steel, in the storm we ride.
Gold in the rain, we leave behind,
Chasing dreams that dare unwind.

A Plane is Soaring

A plane is soaring overhead
Against a bright blue sky.
I wonder who the people are
Who chose this day to fly?

Some relatives about to land
In time to share a meal,
On this eve before a holiday
Both somber and surreal?

Or some business folk returning home
From meetings out-of-town,
Reuniting with their families,
Looking just to settle down?

Or some tourists on a long-planned

Soaring To Heaven

Upon death, I’m soaring to the stars
Bearing all the hurt and the scars
Of a life I’ve suddenly left behind
Wonderful memories, many treasures to find

My spirit has left my body now
Sailing through the clouds somehow
Ascending to the great unknown
This beloved earth, I’ve now outgrown

Wedding bells have turned to rust
My body returning to the earthly crust
I long

Over the town

      souls of the lovers soaring high merged at last ~ shame on the world

Fly up high like an
Airplane in the sky; soar
To the wind glide nigh.

Silver Eagle

The eagle has grace and flair as She soars up in the clouds
Up and above them clouds she climbs as she eyes a quarry
Strong in her wing as effortless she spreads the swift is she
A silver eagle she is resplendent in glory and ethereal light
She that is spoken of in whispers in hidden cloves at

Soaring

Hard to land the plane when building it on the fly
Yet it’s ok to keep our head in the clouds while we try
Eventually we’ll lower our landing gear from up high
But for now keep dreaming and reinventing up in the sky
