A Disconnect

Frayed mangled sparking wires crossed dissonance hang-up sires Metallic smoldering stench friendship slipping monkey wrench

MONDAY
By Leon Enriquez

Monday
Comes around
A fresh play
On new grounds

Create
Sync with change
A new fate
Casts your range

Sparkle
Dare to live
And juggle
What you give

~~~~~~~~~
Bestow
A kind heart
Now you know
How to start
Align
Heart and soul
As mind signs
Thought made whole
Inspire
Word and work
As zest sires
Your own perks
~~~~~~~~~

Desire
To be whole
Start deep fire
Bless your soul

Release
Fear and dread
Groom fine peace
Unafraid

Conceive
Thoughts are things
Now achieve
What feel flings

~~~~~~~~~
Believe
How you feel
You receive
Cheer that heals
Achieve
Your fond dream
Do believe
Lavish streams
Endear
True joy sums
Spread warm cheer
See outcomes
~~~~~~~~~

Abide
Here with grace
Bloom and glide
Sacred space

Attain
In good time
Wise true gains
Mime and chime

Embrace
Your own fate
Quest your pace
In good state

~~~~~~~~~
Here for a while with pain and gain,
See the plain truth with conscious feel;
Wear a stern style but not in vain,
Each act bears proof in swirl and spill.
Look deep to see the middle way,
Know your self well so love can bind;
Then you can be the cast you play,
Watch how thought dwells with peace of mind.
Etch your clear sketch in journey quest,
Seed soul and heart with ample feel;
Live poise you match as cheer blooms fest,
Sculpt your own art with zest and zeal.
Let fire greet fire in life’s hot spot,
Glimpse what now sires in play and plot;
For burning pyre tells yet a lot,
Sense faith aspire with arc of thought!
Premium MemberEmbody
Here with a smile as sad thoughts bleach,
I count my days in surge of pain;
Joy takes a while to seep and reach,
As pain sculpts clay now and again.
My quest for peace starts with void deep,
I hear a voice that calls to me;
Brief shaft of ease in dance of sleep,
Stream pique of poise that craft can be.
There is a way within that shows,
A touch unseen like in a dream;
A mellow play of words that flow,
A gap between where stillness streams.
A hidden fire burns warm and bright,
Deep soul marks heart with body-mind;
Spirit now sires a lovely light,
Glimpses now start to help me find.
Faith channels hope in glimpse that calls,
Love abides here in deep desire;
Joy sculpts and scopes as echoes fall,
Goodwill seeds clear true burning pyre.
Who To Retire
A boss can The Vigorous retire
While the latter is still a live wire,
His arms still sinewy, his feet sound tires:
The one who vibrant kids sires...
A boss can send home his firm's tears' dryer:
Saver of company's cars from mire,
It doesn't have to die down: 'the fire'
Nor does it need to corrode 'the wire'.
Then, your arguments could hearers tire
And, dragged too long, make you little liar;
Ones clearly seeking a confused buyer,
Wherefore you could not but go that higher...
Bosses mostly retire The Tired
And when they do they have them just fired!
Premium MemberInto Thy Hands
Into thy hands, I commend my fate, not heart
Only from my heart I can preserve my pride.
Into thy hands, only fate, not all of me part
My one and only precious heart is where I ride.
Into thy hands, my commended fate flourishes, rests
But my sole heart stays, blooms in my soul that nests.
Destiny is not fate without life's purpose
Purpose grows in heart and soul, fate sires purpose.
Hearken
Hearken to my song, my tale
My story swift, and true;
I will utter only once.
‘Neath skies of azure blue
I seek the science of the mind;
The study of the same.
In aspects of unspoken grace,
My future I will claim.
My morals are of adamant,
My will of steel and iron,
And still, I speak no faithless word,
Lest restless are my sires.
From fingers quick I sing a song;
They dance across the frets.
And paint away my sorrows gray,
‘Neath moon and star sets.
Feet hastening over the grass
I seek to self improve
Pushing myself past my limit
This is the pain I choose
Try and you will fail to find
A truer soul than I
In word and deed, I follow creed
‘Neath azure autumn skies
Kindness blends with kindness
Anger sires anger
Mindfulness lingers with reason
Affection grows in caring and charity
Laziness retards inspiration
Abstinence dissolves patriotism...
Jesus is my brother
a friend like no other
He calms my ills from
paltry Earthly thrills.
Let it be through me
his works conquer me
For the benefit of all.
As I strive to relieve
those of Evil enthralled,
I reverent his Eternal call
to spread his word worldwide
and quench the unending tide
of suffering in this world of mine.
Take me to your loving arms
Bless me with your Godly charms
Provide me the Wisdom of Ages
that sires us all to think like Sages.
Let it be.
That ever long and winding spirit.
November Woods
There's crimson on the trees,
And gold against the blue.
Clouds float across the sky,
Above the colored roof.
The green still hangs on pines,
Though winter pulls leaves down.
Trample them, stamp on them,
Walking about the town.
The winter hinted air,
And vibrant foliage,
Makes me look in wonder,
At what's on forest's edge:
The leaves are the color,
Of the flame deep within.
Burning through the forest,
Of trees with sorrel skin.
The lovely leaves linger,
Only for a while.
Lasting only as long,
As my little smiles.
The light shines down on them,
And me as well, it seems,
Making our colors true,
As though it were a dream.
The amber leaves fall down,
Around me as I walk.
They're forced to decompose.
Their beauty makes them rot.
And rot they will slowly,
Beneath their sires old,
And feed them by their roots,
Now hither is the cold.
But leaves will spring anew,
In many, many days.
I loathe for them to go,
And loathe for their delays.
Though,
I know they will return,
And paint the skies again,
With their carmine fires,
And flaxen gold lament.
Orphaning Winds
Changing with each season,
voices come and go
what’s lost undreamed, ourselves demeaned,
in search of the unknown
Naked and left wanting,
fortune sires myth
impregnating its mystery
—with tales of the abyss
Twin foes: aversion and desire
Let’s watch them moment to moment
These shallow urgings, ego sires
Plunging heart in discontentment
Know that we are not mind-body
Twin foes: aversion and desire
Void of cessation holds the key
Free from karmic consequence dire
Who are we, honestly enquire
We are divine light eternal
Twin foes: aversion and desire
Low vibrations inimical
Mindfulness blossoms awareness
Delusion consigned to the pyre
Illumined then is consciousness
Twin foes: aversion and desire
Premium MemberGoing In Within
Oft in the still of the dark unforgiving night
We do wake up trembling with remorse
Ego borne ferality cause of our plight
Consciousness correction the only recourse
Hardwired and left brained we make a list
Of inner urgings resulting in contraction
Habit borne patterns that insistently persist
Deep gloom shrouding our innate elation
What we see is that all fears mirror desire
Being two sides of coin called attachment
Anchoring our attention in delusion ego sires
Holding us thus captive in discontentment
Looking at our dilemma in spiralling fears
We begin by accepting reality as it is
Thus resisting not negativity ego spears
We exit the game of solving quiz after quiz
Rotating polarity of attention effortlessly
We go in within into our heart centre
Choosing to listen to conscience intently
Within the void of emptiness bliss enters
Thus it is not the type of fear but fear itself
Mirroring desires amidst external illusions
Blocking connection of lower mind with Self
Joy ignition rekindled in stillness of meditation
There being
no compromise
we flow into His heart
in astonished surprise
Within His heart
blue electricity afire
contouring a human form
wherefrom pure love sires
That that revealed
by mind misinterpreted
yet from our heart centre
we find being-ness elated
Fear
Behind my brows are horror scenes
Each blink am drifted in oblivion deep
In the fear archives within my genes
As cold trepidations in my heart creep
Beaming vivid horror acts of slavery.
Behind my brows I hear black souls
Wailing desperately in quandary state
Mothers nurse their toddler's sores
The custodians of the future's fate
Heavy load their tender shoulders bear.
Behind my brows I see dark images
Frantically wobbling under heavy wood
Whip driven further from their villages
Chained animals they're misunderstood
In the worst humanity servitude
Behind my brows fear hatchet it bears
Hides in wait to murder my black ego
Maybe I'm the off spring the feeble sires?
Or am the pious to white man's credo
Too scared in inferiority complex.
Behind my brows a distant flame glows
The rich jungle in between is my fear
Who will extinguish it when it's close?
Who will solicit loud that all can hear?
Who will unhinge the mind shackles bear?
