Sweet Revenge

I was so angry
His betrayal screamed through me
Deafening my heart
I yearned for revenge, but then
Sweetest forgiveness soothed me

Excellent Regina. When I'm angry I don't always think straight. I have to have a cooling off period so I try hard not to say anything until I do. The Bible tells us a soft answer turneth away wrath. So I have to pray, Lord please keep Your right hand on my shoulder and Your left hand over my mouth. Besides when you don't forgive you hurt yourself worse than the person you are mad at. THANK GOD! I have had some thing's done to me, but I have done unequal pain towards another. Who am I not to forgive another special something or someone, including, myself continuing?
