Bird Warrior
Wayfarer warrior of words
never work on wonders
that would bring war to the worlds

I may be lowly human
but I'm high as the birds...

Stranded
Sundown city,
Sunday stranger.

     Storm-swept,
     neon-dimmed night.

Stranded, solitary,
lonesome wayfarer.

     'neath a hollow,
     homesick half-light....

Let Me Fly
I lie in your hands O Death, pray be kind to me,
Fly away breath, set this weary wayfarer free.

Deadlock
Once I was a preserver
a wayfarer
a maker
but later
you turned me into a useless stargazer
by losing the will of being your tracer
I ceded my kismet on becoming an engraver

I grew to be nothing but a moveless eraser...

The Weary Wayfarer
Whencesoever it comes, thence whithersoever it goes
This never-ending road, Oh, why no one seems to care or know?
So, I pitch my camp by the road-side and quietly repose!

Be As It May
Tender tears pass slowly across a cheek.
Emotions leave unchecked.
It is a beginning. It is the end.
Wayfarer, how do you go?
Leave me be but say something.
Anything as my finger touches.
The silky wet.
A journey. A passing.
Try. Stop. I am your just.
Seems pleasant somehow....

Meet each day well,
Yield to the light;
See that soul dwells,
Taste fond insight;
Intuit and know,
Calm that lives deep.
Wear truth that shows,
Ask for brave leaps;
Yes paves the way,
Feel how joy yields;
Apply fine say,
Reach for a field;
Embrace and sing,
Roads that life brings.

Why Are You Blue
The wayfarer, searching
for the leaf-pains?
fallen from the lone tree.

Some holy script will
tell the angst of the sap,
which would not reach the roots.

A responsible weep,
will divulge your name to?
forest bees, waiting for the moon.

I watch the setting sun
with trepidation.
Night will bring again, the blasts.

A peaceful path some may call a rough road,
In succulent scents--they feel a forebode.
Me--I'm only a drowsy dreamer
pitching pebbles at all troubling times.
Searching skies for lovely rainbows,
climbing clouds above mountaintops.
A wistful wayfarer finding my way

The Weakness of Love
As out the window I saw him, and without asking permission
I fell in love with him,
The butterflies of my heart fluttered,
My conscious disappeared in the deep shadows of his mystery
My heart melted on the flames of lust with blowing winds of fears
My soul filled with so much darkness so much cold,
I became a wayfarer wandering the lands,
Tracing the crumbs of his existing...

Raindrops Falling 1
Raindrops falling

Haven’t seen the morning paper yet
Here are the raindrops
One, two, three..
The headlines must be…
Floods in Mumbai

Don’t go away
Listen to the voices

One, two, three…
Song of the protean wayfarer
Dance of the gypsies
Prancing sluices

Dont go away
Here goes the plangent fiddle too

What a way to water the day..

Your Blue Eyes Shine In the Green Waters
i am the golden hero
fighting
slaying men
deep, where the battle rages

in the pale winter field
warriors die all around me

your blue eyes shine
in the green waters
they are watching
they are the eyes of mercy

i am the wayfarer
i rule dark shining towers
where the dead kings
rest in sleeps of peace
their souls
carried by my golden eagles
beyond the seven heavens...

Laughter In Spring
Far from the urban madness
I hear laughter echoing through
the darkening woods
The chuckle of wood elves?
or perhaps some other wayfarer
is drinking in joy from creation
Walking towards the sounds
I inhale deeply of the verdant forest's scents
All I see are trees and small birds
Did I imagine the laughter?
Don't think so
Maybe it is the earth itself
Laughing for pure joy at
the return of spring...

Premium Member Belief Is Gone
Belief is gone
Bereft I linger long after death
No one knows I am gone
Least of all me

What has happened?
Or am I premature?
Is this an epiphany
Or a funeral?
Am I truly gone
Or is this one of those
night terror things?
I walk around like a lost wayfarer,
yet, not walking with feet
but rather flying
from place to place,
satisfied in no way.

I peek at the survivors
Who have no idea
And do I even?
Not really...

Delhi Blast
I am still naked inside.
Beautiful, trace element
is trembling, involuntarily
in infamy.

You live to succumb again.
The halved body does not stir
after the explosion.
Lips were moving without voice.

Tonelessly your feet
melt in the steps of saints.
The wounded sun is born again
in the name of faceless martyrs.

For whom the birds will fly
after a terror strike ?
The sky was asking the wayfarer,
who has betrayed the path ?

Best of Both Worlds
The noise troubles you,
And the silence kills me.

You keep looking for the deserted streets,
And even a single wayfarer brightens up my life.

You find spots with the minimum people in the garden,
I wait for the garden to flood with chirpy voices.

We both die to live in the other's environment,
But we both forget to live in our own worlds.
And may be somewhere in the gap between us,
Someone would be enjoying the best of both worlds!!!...

Life and Destiny
Stormy sea causing loss of keel,
Ours is a journey not of own will.

Sent in with a set destiny,
Man marches on to fate’s beating drill.

Life, no more than an o’er-night’s stay,
A wayfarer, man must pay his bill,

His evils in hospice to heal,
Gulps piles of pills, still stays no less ill.

Yea, in an endless life’s journey
Filled with travails of labour and toil!

The suave gentleman proves false
With no reflection in the mirror
Though you are charmed, I'm sure
You must flee because he pursues

Your strength, your will
Your very life
There is no pill to cure your ill
Nor save you from this strife

If you do not turn
And take heed now
You'll be reduced to rubble
Hastily go

The more you sleep
The more you slumber
You fall in deep
And may not return

Quickly to health
Beware
Exit with stealth
Intrepid wayfarer...

Eternal Journey
Why does this cool breeze ravage my spirit?
Why does this balmy moon set my soul on fire?
Why does sweet fragrance set me on a path dire?
Why does my yearning heart only woe inherit?

Why does hither and yonder wander my soul?
How many fond dreams must I yet squander?
For how long must this wayfarer astray wander?
Oh, why is my deliverance beyond my control?
