Life and Destiny

Stormy sea causing loss of keel, Ours is a journey not of own will. Sent in with a set destiny, Man marches on to fate’s beating drill. Life, no more than an o’er-night’s stay, A wayfarer, man must pay his bill, His evils in hospice to heal, Gulps piles of pills, still stays no less ill. Yea, in an endless life’s journey Filled with travails of labour and toil! ________________________________ Ghazal |53.12.2020| Topic: life, journey, destiny
