Trumpeting Now
The poor are not dropping like flies
And Trump wants to know, "What's up, guys?
Don't be a jerk!
Get back to work!
America needs a surprise!"...

trumpeting the deportation of Tren de Aragua killers
only one democrat stood up, few even clapped

Symphonic Triage
Blood upon the keyboards
harmonicas in flight
Chasing notes across the score
horns that greet the night

Eighty eight’s to hemorrhage
reeds that bend and break
Music dying then reborn
—trumpeting our fate

Premium Member When I Come Back For My Next Life
When I return to earth in my next earth life,
I will be found in Africa, trumpeting and pounding the ground.
Shaking leaves and trees as I lumber through.
I will charge poachers, smacking their guns out of their hands.
I will kill them for their teeth....

The rhythm of a bird’s wing flapping,
The whine of a baby crying,
The melody of crickets chirping,
The gaggling of geese honking,
The rip-roaring of thunder drumming,
The pitter of rain pattering,
Are all symphonic sounds,
Of Mother Nature trumpeting....

crushed beneath the fall
visions lost in foggy dreams
bloodied trees in orange robes
distorting angels
trumpeting hallelujah
fog’s gray stone blocks the sunrise

Stars
The fixed stars twinkled
Upon the sky, leaving moon
With angelic smile

shivering stars with horn
moon trumpeting like
mystic swan sailing
the scintillating

scintillating the
sailing swan mystic
like trumpeting moon

The train
Trumpeting its way
On rails
Through tunnels
Busily sliding
Nosily whistling
Arriving stations
Leaving stations
Hearty hugs
Sad wavings
A journey with stops
With people embarking and disembarking
Just as life with ups and downs
With different expectations and dreams...

Crocuses In Bloom
Crocuses in bloom
By Michelle Morris
25/02/2021

Crocuses in bloom bless the landscape -
Purples, blues and whites scattered around to their heart's delight;
Trumpeting spring with colourful silence,
Embracing the sun's rays and reflecting nature's perfection...

Seesaws moving up and down
Slides sweeping down
Swings flying high
Laughters released
Thundering and echoing
Footsteps scattered
Trumpeting and vibrating
While many eyes observing and following
While many eyes hunting and fixing
Sh, life is around
And so a motherly love
Has secretly crawled in...

Fabulous elephant poetry monks
endlessly murmuring verse through their trunks.
Protesting pachyderms trumpeting tales,
waging their war against ivory sales.
African, Indian, it matters not;
Horton’s rough rampage will make your ears hot!

The Climate
The climate

Is an elephant on opium
Weaned off.
Going berserk
Throwing things around
Tearing the
Polaris into fragments.
Hurricanes
Storms
Flooding.
Scorching summers
Arctic winters
There is no end
To the elephants
Despair.
Slim the elephant
Normal food
It will soften
Its rampage
And trumpeting....

Full Moon
Florescent globe eclipsing heaven, shrouding earth
Perched on the precipice of space in airy dearth
Ringed with the growing pains of your shallow birth
Trumpeting over the solemn night's requiem with pomp and mirth
Bountiful orb brilliantly manifesting your inestimable worth
Waxing the dark divide with your silvery girth...

Dear Friend
Hello dear friend,
It's me again,
Escaping to our secret place
Where few to none obtain.

But to puzzle together
These thoughts we measure,
That inward may outward become,
Thrills us again and again.

When ordered and mapped
And our soul is unwrapped
And others experience our home.

We, you and I ,
Break forth to the sky
Trumpeting forth as a poem....

I invite all human kind
to shun Trumpeting Towers
because they are irrelevant
to all MeWe things therapeutic

And because
my depressing blues songs
and green signs
tell
and retell
ultra-nonviolet me

we don't feed narcissistic
angry red
rabidly stampeding
ballistic elephants

Cuz it's not healthy
nor resiliently wealthy,
compassionately unwise....

Why!Are We Always Prepared?
Because you stink from miles away!
im from earth!not the milky way!
The clatter of your heavy loads!
shatters the peace on every road!
Trumpeting around in fear to behold!
bombing the grounds of Gods little fold!
Systems come and they dissapear.
nothing lasts forever,except fear!
Return to the beginning and start anew!
when you burn this sinning of the very few!...

You say, Love is nearest God!
Then I say Faith is as necessary,
only able to know God by such
warmth of ignorance – by such
blessed sense of security – by such
heart-felt breath of presence. One can
know…but then, one can truly know,
far greater than all the tectonics
of the earth, even the silence of
grave a seeming trumpeting volume
of yet more glorious life to come…...

Christmas
(dedicated to all my friends at PS. Merry Christmas to everyone!)

Christmas:
Angels’ trumpeting
Humanity’s rupture
Salvation’s hope

Into our soul’s crib
The divine light is defused
Indifference’s darkness
Disperses
Truth shines bright
Love reigns on earth.

Christmas:
Christ is born
Rejoice!
GOD our LORD still believes
In Us!

Elephant Graveyard
After years of trudging, trampling and trumpeting,
the mighty rouge heads for his destiny. All his
ancestors await his arrival, his final resting
ground hidden from others who wish to rob his family
of their jewels they’ve worked so hard to hide.
Instilled in him is the map leading to his family.
Soon he’ll be free, he won’t need to hide from
poachers, safari men or lions, and he’ll die proud....

Our Wickedness
Oh, if the Heavens were to gash open,
And the angels therein fall out trumpeting,

And if the hells were to exude out to the earth
Its foul breathe and evil sneeze,

And if Man were to be exposed to the very heart of Heavens
And to the iniquity of hell-

And if it was trumpeted Judgment Day,
Man will then defect and by his wit

That heart of the former will he pluck
And fortify the latter with the lock....

Daffodils At Easter
I remember one special Easter like it were only yesterday:
the vet gave us miraculous drugs for our ailing boy*
(we’d feared he’d have to be put down without delay);
he sat by the golden daffodils in our garden - sorry to employ
such twee imagery, but it looked like they were trumpeting with joy.

Night Vigil
Let us talk about ligation.
I don’t want to push the –
searing boundaries trumpeting
the sexual orientation.

The butterflies and bees
are disappearing. A petri dish,
a test tube and artificial
thrust through the red lights.
An unbroken promise
lies in shambles.

Availing something less,
had been beyond the topic
of returning back to home.
The desert blooms again
with indignant cacti.
