Tectonic plates shifting
Ground moves violent sideways
Motions stop earth calm

She's shifting the bedrock
She's dancing tectonic
And now I am drowning
In the deluge
Struggling to get to the surface
Fighting through the debris of my heart.

When the slave of God became the master of his lover,
Their tectonic lovemaking had shook the world all over.
Then they settled gently into an embrace beneath the cover.

Quantum g-spot
Simultaneous revulsion
And primal mystic
Archaic groan
Unpredicable tectonic
Moaning through time
Creation spins itself
Reincarnation splatters across the waves
Fingering past time hopes
Groping for change

Countless millennia of the
Earth’s molten core
Heaving on tectonic plates,
Have ripped continents apart
From gorge to sky,
The wonder is …
They can be bonded once again,
By a young child’s smile,
In the mere glance of an eye.

A quake took place
between my shoulder blades
teeth ground to dust behind my face
the scraping of tectonic plates
scared me to my hiding place
bottles and blankets, a child’s space
it cannot withstand the shakes
that are now all too commonplace.

Red embers of floating sins
Shuffled tectonic plates beneath like a leaf on a spin
Stark raiment query to the forewarning
Numb to the smoke when purloined hubris as second skin
Nefarious stipulation with life's pregnant mysteries, than drama visible on tube, will roost the din

earthquakes and fissures
routinely affect politics and relationships
as they act on the earth's crust
tectonic plates clash in subduction zones
they separate at divergent boundaries
a quake strikes
will I engage or detach?
wisdom will prevail
I will not be smashed or fall between the cracks

A mountain furious, smouldering hot rocks
inferno slumbering in its womb within.
obsidian magma in tectonic locks
chambers a volcano, wrath waiting to spin.
Hot glowing orange flames about to explode
engulfing the fury , pool of metals flowed.
Love of frenzied Lava, none can understand,
tantrum of magma creates a beach of sand.

As planets collide
And tectonic plates slide
And galaxies swirl
In spiral dance whirl
As gravity grips
And pulsar light flips
And black holes appear
So far yet so near
The greatest scientists agree
The biggest question of all
Is whether a pole dancer
In the southern hemisphere
Revolves around the pole
Clockwise
Or counter-clockwise

The pen
not so mighty perhaps
as men choose swords --
words not so powerful
enough, as men restrict
their dialogues to: Ready!
Aim! Fire!~ and mourning...
Global warming...tectonic plates…
asteroids from a-far, hold no candle
to man’s temperament~ when war-fully
lit…
temples and churches they fill
God only in their chanting….

The sleeping giant stirred
Turned over on one side
The world was engulfed
By an abnormally high tide.
Tectonic plates quivered
The whole world gave a shake
Before finally settling back
With just a few minor quakes.
Now totally relaxed
The sleeping giant sleeps on
And until he next stirs
The state of peril is gone.

At the inner edge
Broken paths lie strewn, raging
Timeless confronting time
Bleeding bodies must resolve
We must forge ahead, regardless
Changing affairs delegate
Winds have grown, seas have changed
Though we continue the same mechanical upkeep
Measured energy and protocol
Debate strikes me as thin
There's nothing anymore to win
Simply carve your birth
Tectonic energy flooded with desire

Tectonic tango tantalizes towering
Mountainous mosques many miles making
Valley veins, voluptuous vegetation vacations
Seasonally sending succulent seeds stretching skyward soaking sun
Nurturing nature’s natural nomads
Why waste what’s willed willingly? Watch waters wisdom
Learning loyal love lavishly leaps luminosity
Gracious gratitude grand guide Gaia
Absolutely awaken admiring angelic
Planetary perfection presented proudly protecting people…

Cinders spark and crack,
and flames wriggle like snakes,
fleeing a pit of roast-en ash,
through wooden crates and molten wheel,
gasoline explodes and hells release,
of red hot smut, engulfs with blackest soot,
tectonic shift within the flame,
brings blazing, tower crashing down,
impacting like King Kong,
as tragic as the greatest wrong,
scattered silhouettes of folk,
scramble to and fro and dance and try,
to intervene and drown the primal scream.

what comes tomorrow
leaves some elements of doubt
earths rain wind and fire
seems to dominate the skies
save for our eternal light
arctics melting ice
overflowing tropic isles
oceans reclaim land
earthquakes raise tectonic plates
tsunamis obliterate
carbon dioxide
polluting earths atmosphere
fossil fuels banned
net zero global warming
when will mankind understand

Santorini, a stand out beauty, a splendor in the sea, a semicircular
Cycladic island in the Southern Aegean Sea with dramatic caldera
landscape so unique, crescent shaped, offering breathtaking views.
The famous whitewashed homes, structures with some featuring
glowing blue domes, cliffs falling into the blue crystal clear waters
of Aegean Sea, spectacular sunsets of dazzling kaleidoscope of colors.
Sadly, located at a fault zone with tectonic activity causing tremors.

Do not let another hour pass,
open your heart to another.
How quickly little lives can change.
Fissures could cause sudden shifts in
tectonic plates of world order.
Foolish hearts can close to the new.
From the din rises a young woman
who sirens a song, a new view
where she herself is the message.
Embodied in our nation's poem.
Oh, this is no time for faint hearts!
Hearts hear drumming in misty moors
saying so softly in her voice -
Hope still stirs. Still stirs in us all!

A little pre-dawn shaking was going on around LA.
Early morning risers got a jolt on St. Patrick’s Day.
This quake went the same way so many had gone before.
Today, it measured on the Richter scale at 4.4.
Nobody was hurt, and no damage had been done.
However, experiencing an earthquake is scary and not fun.
Was it the spirit of St. Patrick romping along the heather?
No, it was just two tectonic plates rubbing together.

COPLA 99 INVOCATION : This Bad Guy World
Look : how Great leaders smile at the sky
Proud of the kettle-drum thunder they ply :
Safe underground
Yet tectonic plates inch by inch shy
Away from the Gondwanian crunch nigh :
Earth molten bound
Zhen the Eldest Son shockwaves the gong
Drowns our thunder bound in moth balls :
Nature’s close call
See how Pompei’s pillars go for a song
Come the Krakatoa tsunami walls :
(Do) Great leaders fall
