Double Edge of the Sword

The pen
not so mighty perhaps
as men choose swords --

words not so powerful
enough, as men restrict
their dialogues to: Ready!
Aim! Fire!~ and mourning...

Global warming...tectonic plates…
asteroids from a-far, hold no candle
to man’s temperament~ when war-fully
lit…

temples and churches they fill

God only in their chanting….

Philosophy is just pouring from your pen lately -- and all of it leaves room to roam in fields of contemplation. Thanks, Joe.

I know...my wife often says I am full of it:) -- my works are just door openers...teasers for the reader to expand upon. Sometimes there is no other choice but to fight, as with Israel, having to protect its right to peacefully exist -- but no sane, loving person, is ever fond of such hideous conflict.

So true Joe, and with a history thousands of years in the making. I am neutral to all politics. My only allegiance is to the kingdom of God, and to the One who will soon make all wars cease... Forever

Hi Tom. Thank you, we couldn't agree more. Only two winners in war, if one can call it that -- both heaven and hell increase their populations.
