Turning Back Time
Done quietly
Certain people have been
Strategically put in place
To do the unthinkable
Turn back the clock
Which is time
Is it a joke or do people
Really feel that threaten
Of others...

Rain Has a Name
As the rain showers the land
and the flowers and grass
stand hand in hand
As birds take a bath
in nature's tears
and butterflies scurry
to avoid certain snares
Like a boat's sail
the wind guides the rain
to strategically find its place
on a window pane
and when it's all said and done
Rain has a name....

Premium Member Kermit and Miss Piggy
When Kermit the Frog
Found love at his synagogue
It was unexpected
How instantly they connected

The lovely Miss Piggy
Posing right next to Twiggy
Strategically waving her doily
Batted her eyelashes coyly

They All Die
Its August and we have ants.
Traps are strategically placed,
Apparently, they eat the poison
then carry it to other ants
who then all slowly die.

Can't imagine the pain they endure.

This morning I swept them all away.

I hope never to carry death to another,
but all these dead ants
suggest I am just the usual killer....

Fruit Rainbow
Fruit Rainbow

In my minds’ eye, I see a fruit rainbow,
Seven colors of wonderment strategically placed in a row!

I see red apples, orange mangos, yellow bananas, to name a few,
Green grapes, blue-berries, indigo plums and violet boysenberries too!

In my minds’ eye, I see a fruit rainbow,
An arc full of flavors displayed as Natures halo!

It’s strategically stuck on my bimmer*

*This is the correct spelling for a BMW car or person. Mine is a previously-owned (many times over) 3-series with 259,000 miles that we maintain. Apologies for burning fossil fuel, but at least there is no depreciation to deal with....

Scarlet Love Deserved a Chance To Live
crusty blood in the flower garden
sawed off body parts as misguided soil
broken sharp objects strategically placed
yet and still she is one of the living
this is the day when she was supposed to start kindergarten
her excitement was similar to visions of sugarplums dancing in her head
then suddenly........once upon a time.....she would have been.....
oftentimes too often enough too much........

Premium Member A Murder of Crows

Causing chaos a murder moves strategically closer
and closer of blood dripping fear.....

I see a black crow on the green grass today
Meandering around with cautious steps along his way
A murder perhaps in the tree tops above
His mission so daring he slips on dirty gloves
He'll overtake the weak and rule the roost high above
Caws of hushed secrets all evidence disposed of.....

Putting On My Face
I Briskly buff up my chrome dome
Combing the hair left on the sides
Back then forward and back again
But really there's nothing it hides.

I wet my pinky for my brows
Ready for what shaving will be
Strategically contorted faces
To remove all the stubble I see

My carefully crafted Moustache
Is such an amazing work of art
Now everyone, sees what I've done
I'm a humble, good looking old fart!...

Premium Member Cat Napping In the Sun
A rainbow sliver of sunlight hits my white socked feet, as I sit in my recliner.
I notice the cat has strategically placed himself in the line of sunlight also.
My eyes begin to close, as I snore even more loudly than Shark, my tabby.

                                     sun enters crevice
                                  landing on happy tabby
                                    snoring commences...

Success Secret
Success usually comes to those
Who are too busy I suppose
Knowledge strategically applied
Translates into wisdom wide
Being optimistic militantly
Ensures success splendidly
Think, feel and act positive
Stay away from all negative
Believing in oneself ever
Is the secret of success flavour
Then put mind, soul and heart
Into even the smallest act
Thus becomes the secret cool
Of thy glorious success full..!!...

Boundary Walls
Originating in the ‘Iron-Age’, they stand
as living history; a testament
to the craftsmanship of men of yore

built by hand, each stone
strategically placed one upon another
no mortar holds them, and yet
as our lands circulatory system
of boundaries
they’ve stood for centuries

arteries and veins of dry stone wall
flowing across the fields and hills
of the countryside
that is synonymous of rural England....
